So looking forward to the GoT room and furniture!
Working on it, hoping to have it mostly done before end of the month!
Yay! Looking forward to it!
Are you going to do these is 3Delight as well as IRay @Strangefate?
Saphirewild - Iray only most likely. Having to set up all materials and scene twice is too much work :/
Was just wondering is all.
of course, all good... would love to make it for 3DeLight asweell, but it adds too much unfun work :)
Had too many distractions, but on course now!
Wow . . . that looks incredible! Glad to hear you’re still planning on releasing more sets here.
- Greg
Stunning! So glad that your are going to continue to create!
More playing around to see if it blends...
More playing around
Really coming along nicely I think!!
This is gonna be sooo cool!
Setting up candles... still need some work with the SSS and the light itself
More pieces for the Bedroom
Amazing work. Can't wait until it is all done and out in the store :)
Things are starting to take shape.
Some textures are still WIP and there'll be more layers of dirt on te ground.
Really excellent work, Mario (although I’m not surprised). The stonework on the arches is my favorite part - so realistic! Can’t wait until it’s available in the store so I can grab it and render it with some volumetrics.
- Greg
The ironwork is particularly lovely!
Thanks Greg, should be done soon hopefully. Everything is modeled and has a first texture pass from Roguey at this point. She's been learning how to rig objects, so she's doing all the doors and chests while I go over the textures. Bed matress etc still need more modeling work tho.
The stone arches are actually hand made/sculpted and textured, where as the walls themselves are more of a blend of photogrammetry sources. Wasn't always sure they'd work well together but I guess they do well enough :)
There will be plenty of ironwork Misselthwaite, I probably spent a whole day making that metal material flexible enough so I could reuse it for everything.
Other side of the room, now that the door is done:
Fantastic work!
wow. this looks amazing.
:)

One of the included trunks:
I would buy this prop alone as a product – freaking awesome, Mario!
- Greg
Thanks Greg, if you like trunks, you should be in for a treat... I think she modeled about a half dozen, tho we're only adding 2 to the bedroom and saving the rest for the next projects.
Here's the other one, all the parts that move will be fully rigged. Some of her meshes have rather sharp edges where they would look better being softer (better shine etc) but she's working on that habit... and this trunk is missing a few bolts on one side that she's added since :)
I’m a huge fan of the Curse of Oak Island, and have had plans in my head for a long time to make a tall vertical image - including the stars, above ground, the sea, the sea floor, and most importantly, beneath the island underground (where of course there would be a treasure chest or two). Been accumulating content for all of this for quite some time, and these would be an excellent addition!
- Greg
More fun with renders, they kinda show what materials still need to be adjusted.
I would live in this room lol. Trunk are one of my favorite things, I would probably buy this for the trunks alone. But wow, the whole project is just gorgeous!
