I used it on 3 DAZ+ things while I am still a member
i have 3 in cart, 1 new today release and 2 others...51% on the new, 72% off on the other 2. Its still more than I want to pay. No membership or tokens. Its a price killer. The order today I would get 2 tokens. If I were {remier it would be 10 tokens. It seems high at $19 but I think in reality the deal is pretty darn good actually. Never though I would say that, but the way regular pricing is you need as much discounting as possible and Premier really does make a huge difference. I've had it twice now.

Wow. Well, absent some fantastic lightning deal that shows up, looks like yet again my tokens are going kaput. I can't even get DOs low enough to justify using my monthly $6 coupon.
For the best, I guess. Not spending anything is definitely a better discount, and I guess it proves that the "hey you could earn them faster!" feature of Premier wouldn't be particularly useful for me.
It's 35% on Daz Originals for Premier and you're more likely to have 8 tokens, so 45% on DOs but, yes, it's still possible to let your tokens lapse as Premier.

At first I thought Gordig made a typo in reporting the coupon. Then I looked closely and at the actual picture and had a Jim Halpert moment where I would have looked at the camera with a shrug.
I think the tokens are the best and most evil thing ever. They encourage you to spend...and then again and again because you don't want them to expire. I do, though, because when I find myself trying to find things to buy, it just means I'm most likely wasting money and justifying the purchase with the tokens. I have let them expire more recently based on wanting to spend my money a bit more carefully. I'll conveniently forget that when March Madness returns.
However, the accelerated tokens with Premier are very good, and funny when I see things like the Thomas 9 Pro Bundle in my cart for $129.99 awarding 36 tokens, crazy stuff (I didn't buy it). Useful for when I really want to buy, but it's always so random, even on Thursdays. Especially lately...

They double with Premier all the time, so on those days you would get quadruple. I earned 8 tokens by spending $20.
Gift card sale with reasonable buy-in, as requested ... now I just need to not spend it all before the big sales.
For everyone: a base member will get 2 tokens when they are spending $15, a Daz+ member will get 2 when spending $10 and a Premier member will get 2 when spending $5.
Depending on your current status, you can easily check that's working for you by having the at least $5 / $10 or $15 in your cart and you should get 2 tokens.

I've never paid much attention to tokens, because I never shop enough withing the time frame of 2 weeks to make use of them, but the Daz info on tokens here: https://www.daz3d.com/daz-tokens doesn't say anything about "double tokens on Monday and Tuesday". So is this just another one of those short term glitches that Daz has allowed to run for the time being? Any official word on this? With my luck, as soon as I buy Premier it will cease to play by the same rules.
It was a deliberate thing from the beginning - or nearly so. Originally tokens expired on Sunday, rather than after a set number of days, so doubling at the beginning of the week was a way to get people restarted - I am not sure why it was kept when tokens were reintroduced with a timed life rather than a set day for expiration.
Not sure when the double token thing for Monday and Tuesday started, but it's been that way for a good bit. I used to stock up on tokens on Monday in preparation for the Thursday bundle; that was before we had the 14 day time limit now. This was useful for me when I needed to just increase my library with the kinds of assets I didn't have at the time. Now I can be much more measured with only the occasional impule buy. Occasional. Yes...occasional...
Ok, that makes sense now, and I could see it being ended sometime soon becuase of that. One more question, when you apply tokens to your cart, are there any items in the cart that will be excluded from discount? I assume Fast Grabs & Gift Cards would be excluded, but I don't see anything else mentioned. So tokens will discount New items and Daz Plus as well as Daz Originals?
I think Fast Grab, Subscriptions, and Gift Cards are the only standard exceptions - I think one or two "Get X for a specific number of dollars" may also have been excluded but I am not sure, and don't think it has been consistent. In the past they wouldn't work on an order that had a Gift Card, even for other items, but that wasn't the case today.
There might be a quite personal way to define "reasonable" for different customers. For me, having two New Products in which I have interest in and having to pay ~$20.- or so would mean that I'd have to get at least a $ 200.- giftcard, which is way above my budget.

Tokens will discount anything that is not under the umbrella of a 'Discount doesn't stack with other discounts' rule.
That rule is sometimes no written or wrongly applied, so if you see something not influenced by tokens without a written rule (always read the small text related to an offer), it's best to report it through the correct disccusion ( https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/717566/new-year-new-sales-thread-report-issues-here-2-reporting-only ) so that moderators can report it to Daz.
Wouldn't work for people without Premier/DAZ+ though, right? And buying them for the "non-DAZ+" price is - for me - unreasonable in itself
