that's a very cool shot When I was still a kid we had rabbits who would attack a cat as well, they scared one out of the garden, they knew no fear
Thank goodness Richard escaped! That could have been him. Yikes!!
I have had rabbits like this too, some of them can be quite feisty. The bigger varieties have no reason really to be afraid of the average cat, and often, they aren't. But there're also some wild smaller ones, it really depends on the character. Years ago, my tomcat used to try and sort of grab one of the bunnies with his paw and tug it so it would roll over, and the bunny put up both ears like an elephant and literally growled and charged straight at him. That was a white one, too, come to think of it ...
I'm really hoping that we will still get those updates Alessandro promised. Especially concerning the underside of feet and the eyes. I do love the bundle to death, but I'm a bit disappointed nevertheless that he didn't take as much meticulous care creating it, apparently, as he usually does with other animals. Maybe a bit less quantity would have been better. Ah well.
Hello, I did take care as I usually do, but I'm only human and I made an error. In any case the updates are in QA and shouldn't be too far from being released.
This is really great to hear, thank you! No offence meant.
Finally a finished render with an American Chinchilla
For a list of assets used, see the image in the gallery
Beware of soft, furry 'wabbits' for they are not to be threatened.

Love your render,
Mary
Glad you like it! I heard wabbits can be fierce creatures
Been eyeing your rabbits since they came out, Alessandro, and am pleased to have added them all to my library. Here's the first render of a New Zealand White eyeing me:
I've purchased the majority of your catalog over the years and have enjoyed rendering all of your critters/beasts, but your rabbits have taken it to another level.
Cheers!

Well I finally updated DS just so I could render Rabbits!
This is a rather interesting thread. btw - a dwarf rabbit can scale an 8 foot wall so that cat in the tree isn't that safe yet ;-) [think it was a Polish Dwarf that did that].
Hey Alessandro, hope you're doing well! Is this update still coming, do you think? It must have gotten stuck in testing somehow, right? Cheers!
hello, the update was done like two months ago already
Looking at the zips date, 20/07.
??? There must be something wrong with my DIM setup then, I'm so glad I came over to ask. In that case, thanks so much for fixing things! Will just redownload the whole set.
