Well, it says that today is the last day of the Anniverary sale. I wonder if it really is or if tomorrow we will wake up to "Sale Extended". In this regard tomorrow is a holiday in the US; so extending the sale might be a way to fill in a day when DAZ employees may be off or there might be a Veterns Day Sale instead. However I wouldn't risk waiting to make Anniversary Sale purchases.

Major sales often end with all PAs on sale, where as right now only a selection are. So maybe there will be one final day, but I would not count on it. Whilst the "surprise" extension is used rather often, it does not happen every time.

I have one final load in my cart right now. with my 7 tokens, the extra DAZ O 20% off and the 50% off featured for buying a new debut release, it comes out at a rather nice price.
One thing I think many overlook that have been DAZ+ members for quite awhile, without that membership pricing is a lot higher. I signed out the other day and I would not be buying a thing with the pricing as a base customer. Wow.
It becomes a huge decision, give up membership on cost constraints or quit buying unless there are some super sales.

I actualy use these weekend sales to rummage thorough "Premier for a day" since it brings all the items in and has a much better selection for 10 items.

Ha Ha! I've been filling and emptying my shopping cart for the past few days, and finally I decided to believe in surprises, now it comes.

Is there something new today (besides the change in the "debut new releases) or just the same thing as yesterday?

I've been tired of sales... More than two months... I need a vacation from them... My brain can't do the calculations anymore to check whether they're worthy...

No change outside of the four Debut New Releases.

    It is 2x token day.

Yeah... I know... I bought stuff yesterday... If I didn't have extra tokens, I'd feel like a sucker for this extension... Since I do, I don't care... But, on the next sale, when they say it's "final weekend", I'll ignore it and wait for the Monday extension... If there is one, I'll buy with 2x tokens; if there isn't, I'll buy nothing and they'll lose money...

I missed the deadline again, but after two months of sales bombardment, I can wait calmly for the next sale,.

Wish I had time to figure out how to use the tools I purchased, Then next time I can clearly say no! I already have something similar.

There are some very interesting items in this sale, unfortunately almost all of them are G9,I hope there will be good support for cross-generation versatility, Then I can buy these new toys with confidence.

You can refund items within a certain period of time, but you have to have the time to test them to see if you want to keep them.

To be precise, you have 30 days after your purchase to ask for a refund.

Never thought about refunding, but I now have time to check everything out one by one and make a list, hopefully done before Thanksgiving Day, that should be the next big sale, right?

Very likely it will be the next "special" sale, as it's only a little over two weeks off... whether what goes on sale is actually desirable or what one considers a good deal of course varies by person. There've been a few of them I've gotten utterly skunked on, so I don't count on it anymore.

So, in the next couple days we should start getting Thanks Giviving pre sales which are sometimes better than the TG day sale. We should get a black friday/weekend sale. Then a cyber Monday sale. Sometimes the cyber Monday is better than the TG day sale. We should then have the whole month of December sales most of which will be OK possibly with some nice "days of Christmas" bonus and a few great gems pushed in there at random. The actual Christmas day sale might be totally lame being totally trumped by the pre-sale the week before. We might get a good new year's sale, or DAZ sale planners might forget New Years is a thing meaning that we might end up with a legitimate new years sale a week, 2, 4 or more after the fact. Lol

Okay, you've just convinced me to renew my Premier membership. It expired yesterday, and things look pretty bleak without it. I think I can make the most of it at this time of year.

Or you can wait with renewal until the offers and sales actually start. While we all can speculate, no one can guarantee that the sales will be there and that they'll be in a specific format.

I hope Daz offers the DO Free or $2.99 choice (in addition to the daily December PA free gifts) like last year. Unlike LDs, the choices were often from your wishlist rather than random DOs. As best we forum denizens could figure out, the algorithm seemed to first look at individual wishlists for DOs that fit the other parameters and only if it didn't find 2 would 1 or both items be random. I got some nice items out of it.

I think it was open to all buyers, since I was taking a break from Daz+ in late 2023.

I  ended up pretty happy with the Anniversary sale even as, uh, strange - let's leave it at that - as it was, especially how it started. I took advantage of the mid-October horror deal ($40 free with a $3 New Release). Not into the genre but you need Big Bad Evil Guys & Gals if you do superhero & fantasy art.

I resolved this time to buy mostly off the wishlist including a few more Bone Minions & Maryam, plus, yes, that Tropical Beach (from the BYOB) I was obsessing over a couple weeks ago. LOL The beach wasn't on my WL, but I had something similar on my WL, so it counts, right?

Also went off WL & got several of the Doorbusters. I lucked out on Sunday. I noticed https://www.daz3d.com/nautilisian-for-genesis-9 Doorbuster was tagged New and that was 1 of the rare days where Still New gave a smaller discount, so I experimented - & it did work for the extra discounts! Which I used with the $10 off $25 coupon to buy more WL items.

I think it was, but it required a daily buy-in so that you could open the calendar the next day. While I got some nice things out of it too (especially things that were never priority purchase-wise but I liked them), if this year is going to be the same as the last year, I don't think I'll be dropping the minimum of $3-4 daily in December just for the chance of choice of two items, one free and one for $3.99 (I'll take a guess that the price will rise as it did with Daz+ for a Day—if it doesn't, it'll be a nice surprise).

I have mixed feelings. I got a few nice things from Doorbusters and Daz+ for a Day, and I did like that one time when they offered an extra % off items on the wishlist, so I got a few things that were really nice price. I didn't shop on the weekend (and the extension), because the new releases were meh and only few of them, and I still have a few tokens left... Maybe there will be an interesting bundle on Thursday?

Yeah, if it was me I'd definitely wait, since there's no deadline for signup. Then it extends longer on the other side.

The daily purchase also kept the discount buoyed to the maximum amount... will be interesting to see if that's a thing or not since tokens are a standard feature now and they did away with those during December last time.

My offerings were unfortunately a really mixed bag... I got a few things that were great, but I was still figuring out my tushie from a hole in the ground, so my WL was not havily populated. I ended up with a lot of offers for skimpwear armor and random textures for things I didn't have. It wasn't hard for me to find something to get cheap every day back then because I didn't really have diddly. So it was like - oh, hey, bookcases are on discount today! I'm sure I could use bookcases! (I have, in fact, gotten a lot of mileage out of those bookcases.) Also, I hadn't discovered Daz Dealz, so I really had no idea what was a good price and what wasn't. But over the last year there were a couple sales where I really cleaned house on the lower-end stuff on my list, so we'll see how I feel about the buy-in level this time around.

The PA gifts were fantastic, though, and I super appreciated those. One was a beard that ended up on three of my characters (I learned to mess with the file for that one to change the shape and walked around like a conquoring army for three days when it worked) and there were a couple sets of shaders that at the time I kind of went "meh" at because anything beyond changing the size of an asset intimidated the poo out of me, but wow they've gotten some great use now that I've leveled up a few times.

And the toilet seat. Because reasons.

Well, for those who not so long ago argued that "no, Daz+ didn't become second class offer and Premier is just another tier," here's the first proof that you were wrong: in today's flash sale, Premier members get an extra discount. Daz+ just pay what non-members pay (yes, I checked in the cart, Daz+ members do not get the discount, so it's not only a visual/banner thing).

Being a Daz+ member definitely feels like second class now. Or even third, considering we get the same offer as non-members while Premium members get a special.

Agreed. And it's an awful deal when one looks at the selection on offer... So old they have cobwebs... (unless they change things after I post this message XD)

As far as premier membership special price, the offer still stinks because the selection is aweful for the price point. And as I have said before. I don't think there is a point in daz+ (monthly) vs premier. For $9 more, premier is so much more worth it. I think the choice is between do I want premier this month, and if not then swap back to basic.

It's a s*****y sale for Daz Premier too so we're all in the same boat... cheeky

The most expensive products have $29..99 as their maximum ("list") prices. And they're old... I'm really past the newbie stage of buying anything but new products for more than 10% of their maximum ("list") price (minus the DO rebate when applicable plus they have to be relatively new, i.e., non-legacy)... There are some nice items there (many I happen to own), but I wouldn't pay more than $1.99 for them (being generous)... So, don't feel bad about not being a Premier this time... You're losing nothing.
