This is what I've been spending my time on since reinstalling C4D  -  cleaning up and rigging a dinosaur model I found ages ago.  The topology was pretty horrid in some parts, and an absolute nightmare on the mouth. I had to remodel the tongue from scratch because there was no possible way I could clean it up (It's a miracle the model renders cleanly!)

I had to look for this thread, it wasn't in my bookmarks as it should have been.

I may be out of the PC+ club...no option for monthy anymore?  Can't afford quarterly.  Can't afford to pay my bills.  crying

    My complaints for today.

@ DanaTA, as I understood it you could change to monthly, once you had taken out one of the longer periods to start with.  Have you not checked on this?

Oh and BTW, apologies on the cahnge of bookmark for this thread.  We had the weirdest glitch hit the forum overnight and it was the only way to sort it out.

They were not firendly gremlins I tell 'ee.

I was on a quarterly subscription up until the 7th of this month.  Before that, I went in and changed it to monthly, and put enough into credit (via Gift Card) to cover it.  But it didn't renew, it expired, and I got an email telling me as much.  I tried the renew link and it brought me to a page that offered only annual or quarterly.  I tried to call today, around 10:30 am DAZ time, but I got their answering service instead, who offered to put in a ticket.  I said, "I could do that myself!  Thank you and goodbye!" and hung up.  I put in the ticket.  So far, I only received the automated response.  Who knows how long it will be before they actually respond?

Places that issue tickets like Disney, or theaters are apt to fall into the mentality that long lines mean they're successful.

The idea is not to penalise those who can't phone - because theya re in the US and their work day overlaps with Daz', or because they aren't and would face international call charges. Tickets also leave an audit trail in case there are later problems.

Yeah, but I do live in the US!  It's not the first time I've gotten the answering service instead of a person.  That never happened a couple of years ago, I'd always get a person.

More shopping as I fill the kitchen up:

/instant coffee 4 versions, Weekend Warrior pale ale, A-1 spicy sauce, olives, Sriracha sauce, Lemon pepper seasoning, Cholula chili lime hot sauce, garlic powder, 4lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs, cutting board, coffee mug, and a non=stick satula.  surprise

.and I came home to a crock pot full of incredible beef stew! Beef, red taters, yellow taters, yellow onion, can of maters, can of beef consumee', worchestershire sauce, and hickory Liquid Smoke.

OMGIT'S SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD OMG!  And plenty to freeze and take to work!!

Well it already looked good when I got it years ago, but the topology itself wasn't xD

Still needs a lot more work, but it's at a point where most of it can be rigged and posed without too much trouble.

On another note, the forum keeps sending me back to the main forum page every time I close my browser, and I have to navigate back to this thread manually since it throws a "Page not found!" error in my face when I try and use the back or history buttons to return to the thread.

I missed cooking so much.. I love to cook, and when I had a slow cooker I would make chicken, beef, ham, sausage.. then I moved to Tulsa and it all went to Hell. indecision If I ever get a girlfriend again, I'll be cooking for her (lol)! Mom and Dad both cooked, and they took turns teaching me. I'm not bad, not Bobby Flay good, but not bad. blush Heck, I'd get a girlfriend just to cook for her! surprise

Bookmark it!  Click the star to the right of the thread title.  Then, just click on the Gear at the top, and click on My Bookmarks.  It will be there and tell you how many new posts there are.  I do this for my prefered threads now.  I gave up on the eBots a long time ago.  This way my inbox doesn't get spammed with notices, and the thing I am following are always easy to find.  Well, except for this morning when it disappeared.  angry

Usually anyway, but when I was active before I just kept the thread tab open at all times.

Usually anyway, but when I was active before I just kept the thread tab open at all times.

I keep a tab open for the forums, but I keep it on My Bookmarks.  Then every now and then I just refresh it to see what's new.  I can see all the threads I follow on one page with the golden numbers (new posts) next to the titles.  Then I can check each out as desired, and in the end, just return to the My Bookmarks page and go to another tab, or minimize the browser and do other things.  It has really worked out well for me.  Now and then I'll check various main categories to see if there's anything I'm interested in checking out.

To avoid the email spam, you have to turn off email notifications.  You'll still have notifications, but they'll be on a page that you get to by clicking on the gear and selecting Notifications.  It tells you how many you have.  I just go in now and then and delete them (they really pile up!).  After you confirm, you have to click on the link to DAz 3D Forums, otherwise you won't see My Bookmarks in the gear menu anymore.  That, I think, should be addressed.  But I'm not holding my breath.
