Catching up on your thread. Lots of great stuff, but special shout out to your two elephant renders. One is about 4 pages ago, and then the more recent combination with the fantasy character. Excellent poses and fun images. Will be following your experiments with postwork with interest.
Thanks so much for the nice comments Diomede_Carrara and I will be doing lots more experiments with GIMP as the days go on!!
Here is yet another test render for lighting!!
Also Trying to retexture the dress!
Trying out a freebie I got a while ago called Hector!
So many nice renders here, Saph!
I like the subtle rimlight effect. Maybe a tad too dark overall?
Cool=) maybe place the girl in the opening against the nightclouds, or make that ghost emit some light upon her?
Very nice setting indeed, nice moody lighting
Thanks for the nice comments and the great advice Sven! I think I will try to get the ghost to emit some light on her because the point of the story is that the ghost is scaring her
This is yet another project I am working on. It is not done yet still a WIP. I am trying out new angles to render right now to see which would be the best.
Here is what I made for the PC+ Insperation contest for this week!
Yet again working on my lghting skills plus trying to use some of the great content my hubby and kids got me for Mother's Day!!
Of course it is done in 3Delight using AoA Lighting postworked in GIMP
Well, in general it's a nice Render.
Only two Notes from my little Artist eye.
For my taste the Smoke in the Foreground is a little too dominant, especially over the Boots.
And the Color might be more in a Purple tint as you've used much in this Render.
Thanks so much for your advice and nice comment @SpaceVagabond!
Well, giving advice and/or sharing own sights of things is always a good thing, even if i'm nearly new in 3D-Art.
But as with so much things in life, tastes are also very different.
Keep on your good work!
Well @SpaceVagabond I have been here nearly 4 yrs now and still consider myself to a newbie to daz because there is always something new to learn!
That's true. But when you have much fun playing with DAZ it's always good to learn new things.
That is soooo true for sure it is always good to learn new things it keeps you interested!
Here is one I did for Llola's Render Challenge!
Very well done:)
I've had a look at everything and wow, your post work is coming along beautifully!
Thanks so much Sven for the nice comment!
Thanks so much @IceDraonArt for the nice comment and coming from you means so much to me!
Titled:Break Down Towards Beach
This looks really nice - like it!
Am i right that this is a WIP? Lights aren't there. It don't look good at this stage.
Great work, it looks like your getting more comfortable with the Gimp and postwork. Charlotte 8 is on my wish list, she came out too close to the holidays . Keep up the great work..
Thanks for the nice comment @SpaceVagabond and yes the second render is a WIP I have to get the shadows and such in there yet!!
Thanks for the nice comment @DustRider!
Yes I am getting much more comfortable with my GIMP postwork.
I must admit that the only reason I got Charlotte 8 is because I got the Gigi character from @Darwinsmishap!
But I am happy with her she is quite the cutie!
Here is one I did up just to check out the new tree backdrop I got a few days ago!
This one I did up just because!!
Here is one I did for Vicky's Birthday! Made with Vicky 6!
I am so happy to get all the Vicky's base figures today!
The one I did not have were 5,6, & 7!
I had 4.2 and Vicky 8 base figures!
So Happy Birthday Vicky!
Happy Birthday Vicky 5!
