hubert : beautiful collection of abstract flowers.
Horo:
Thanks a lot for your efforts and this analysis!
Your findings make me assume some kind of initialisation problem in the "E Smooth" (of Bryce7), occuring only under very special and rare conditions. (Which I just met coincidentally with my file/mesh). -- Glad to know a solution and also about your fix! :)
NGartplay, Mermaid, adbc:
Thanks! -- It's Spring now...... so, posting a ShSpFloPoHu ("Shiny Sphere Flower Power Hubism" ™) was obligatory. ;)
Yellow Pen, Thank you.
S Ray, magnificent result with your repeated tori. Some kind of alien machine, me thinks.
Hubert, your serie of 'akelei' (columbines in English) is very elegant and beautiful.
Hansmar: Thanks!
If you want to play with this "columbines workfile": The download link is in my post from April 14th (on page 3 of this thread).
Two more renders using NGartplay's file, 1st Panorama projection, changed the size to 2:1, I removed some of the objects and added a Wings 3D object, the 2nd is the same setup viewed thru the Fish Eye Lens.
mermaid, well done. So many details make these so interesting.
mermaid - another two nice examples. I prefer the first, the panorama one. You may want to try to narrow the camera FOV for the one with the fisheye lens so that the centre gets magnifie and/or move the camera closer.
mermaid : 2 facinating abstracts, I also prefer the first one. Great work !
Mermaid: Two cool images with fascinating details.
Thanks NGartplay, Horo, Adbc and Hubert for the nice comments and thanks Horo for the suggestion.
Great tip Horo!
Mermaid, two wonderful renders.
Thanks Hansmar
Time to add a few renders here again. These are all modifications of NGArtplay's original one by modifying textures and positions or e.g. the form of the sphere. And the light is changed in some cases as well.
Three great examples Hansmar I like the brightness of the 1st one
Hansmar, the first one is my fave. The purple is too dark for me but the last one has an eerie, sci fi-ish feel that is cool.
Hansmar : three facinating examples, the first two look like the entrance of a magic place, the last one is more scifi.Very well done.
Hansmar - another three nice variants. Also I prefer the first one.
Hansmar: Great variants! My favorite is also the first one.
I played with Horo’s suggestion on the Fish Eye Lens, I moved the camera to x and z =0 the Fov for the 1st is 1 and the 2nd is 180, I don’t find any difference in both. Conclusion I need to see the videos and read the pdf that came with the Lens and Filters product again.
mermaid - strange. I suspect that you rendered as 360 Panorama Projection instead of Perspective Protection. Camera FOV does not work for Panorama Projection.
Using Bryce for so many years I'm still learning about this awesome program, thanks Horo, I'll give it another try after I do my entries for the current challenge.
mermaid, that's like looking into a snow globe, in a way. Turned out so pretty.
Thanks NGartplay
mermaid : those two images still look great, beautiful soft colours.
Thanks Adbc
two of hubert "purple smoker" transformations. Played a bit with everything, the position of the mesh and material, made the big sphere transparent, and changed the sky.
Two beautiful variants Adbc love the subtle colors of the first
adbc - two wonderful variations, the first is just beautiful and the second like a city as seen through a distorting lens.
adbc: Great tweaks! Two wonderful - dreamlike - variants. The second one is slightly nightmarish.
