I love djoji's ships, but unfortunately there are some things missing here. For example, only the upper pool has stairs so you can climb out. For the other pools, I think you have to master high jumping to get out. The sun deck on the sides has no awnings, etc.
Speaking of the cruise ship, I noticed that on one of the promo pics that shows the ship sinking, in the lifeboat sits good ol' Spider Man all by his lonesome self. Comic hero convention must have gotten a little rowdy. Maybe Hulk got mad and smashed everything.

Yep, WOW! Looks like more time to save my pennies for March Madness. But if today's sale is any indication then the March Madness sale may become March Mehness.
In the past, the "madness" was intro prices of 50% off. But sometimes it added some better deals on older stuff.
I've found, in general, the pre-Christmas sales to be the best. This past Christmas if you played the game correctly you could get top PA products that rarely go on sale for 86% off or more without a huge buy in. I had whole carts that averaged over 86% off (and I'm not even talking about the DAZ+ for a day items) while others complained about the bad sales because they didn't understand the trick how to do it. I look at DAZ sales as puzzle games and you really have to take the time to figure out the best deals, but once you "solve the puzzle" you can be rewarded with some amazing deals. It's almost as if they want you to struggle to figure it out though. For newbies there are always simpler to understand great deals on items most of the regulars already own. I already own more than I could use in two lifetimes but I guess I'm an addict here, although I've been cutting down quite a bit lately.
I check here daily to see if I can get some great deal rather than actually needing anything. I guess I look at shopping here as an interesting puzzle game more than an asset store at this point.

As for today's President's Day sale (I don't live in a country with a president so clearly not for me) - once again a whole list of discounts conditional on buy a new product. No thanks.
Also I just clicked on a Featured Artist sale expecting an extra 10% off the usual 40% discount but I see a lot of items at a mere 10%. If so, what do they mean by "extra"?
[Update] - ahh right, I think I get it. If the artist's product didn't have a 40% discount at all, it now has one @ 10% otherwise the discounted products do have an extra 10%. Fair enough although I have no incentive to buy something with only a 10% discount when I can wait a few days and get it at a much better discount -- there's always another sale.
The Legacy Items is the best this time, bought the Year of the rabbit for $3.49 (new release) and filled the cart with $0.36 - $2.51 items, ending up at -94% for the cart.
Got all the 1.99 DAZ+ items off of my wishlist and then some... But we do have a president
After reading the prior comment I've been playing cart jenga all evening trying to decide if I want a small amount of genesis 9 items or a large quantity of of V4 and A3 items which have been on my wishlist forever and are a really good deal right now. I put a Mousso character as my new item and am probably going to purchase most of the items on my V4/A3 wishlist. I still like rendering the older generations. I couldn't resist the Mrs. Klaus bundle. Sigh. I'm such a DAZ addict. And wow. March Madness just began.

After spending all my mm credit yesterday, a gift card sale is a must. Pretty sadistic to start it right after that sale.
Well a free gift is always nice. Apart from that I doubt that March Madness will do it for me this year. Nothing there I really need. No prices yet that would make me buy stuff I don't need. And the two most interesting items which might make me use Gen9 a bit more (Growing Up for G9 and Toon Kids for G9) seem to never go on sale. Although both have been released end of October. So no discount although in the market for nearly 4 months. Who mentioned the pre-christmas-sale. Guess I have to wait until then ;-)

Besides, yesterday so much was on sale i couldn't decide and ended up buying nothing, i would have needed one more day, lol. Still, most people likely spent all they could afford yesterday, so nothing left for MM...

Wasn't the Caldwell HD and the Aliens for Genesis 9 Mega Bundle that I bought yesterday a "Featured New Release"? If so, how do I trigger today's discount?
It might mean featured in the last three days, not featured at some point and purchased in the last three days.
I have a question for anyone who either has been in school recently or has children in school now with computers; do they work solely off the batteries or do the schools now have electrical outlets next to the desks or built into the desks?
I am asking because the new https://www.daz3d.com/tesla3dcorp-high-school-2 seems to be very modern, but I noticed the desks are in the middle of the room without access to nearby electrical outlets.
Curious if their laptop batteries would last for all their classes also?

I suspect it has to have been a new promo on one of the last three days - I had purchased at least one and yes, the price changed immediately in my cart with no code required.

It's only February 21st! We have a full week to go before it's March! These special sales don't seem to last long these days, so why start one a week early?

in the past, coupons and discounts stacked. in day #1 of MM, there is a category of 3.99 products..in the fine print it says: "‡ ‡ Offer does not stack with other discounts".
Too bad as it could have actually been decent had they stacked. Perhaps DAZ will bring that back one day. For this day, considering the items I selected were just nice additions, the cart will be cleared.

This has probably been addresssed, maybe with one of the Toolbox products, but is it possible to use two different land features in one scene? For instance, a water feature/shoreline and then one of the new roads to travel along the shoreline? Or a path through the woods that crosses o paved highway.
Was that meant for the Ultra Scenery thread?
I've seen both. Newer schools have outlets by each desk or pair of desks. Older schools use batteries, and the students have to switch to seats by the outlets to recharge. Other schools have no computers at all.
Well I have a nice fat store credit. Now I wait for DAZ to tempt me with some ineteresting offers...
