@ Horo:
Bubble Cities - what a cool SciFi picture. Just perfect.
Journey to the Microbes - what a great idea. a trip to a micro-world. Very nicely done.
Journey to a Solar Eclipse - Once again a wonderfully realistic picture. Top!
@ Hansmar:
Books, every time a new journey - all three versions are successful, I like the first one best.
@ adbc:
A cat's adventure - very nice and funny idea.
Hansmar - the new version definitely looks better but I think the lady's skirt/dress looks unnatural. Sitting in that position the pleats/folds fan out, and not distinct like in the render. I don't use Daz or Poser so I'm not sure how characters work.
Thank you drachenlords.
drachenlords : thank you.
My second entry : the start of a new journey.
Fantastic scene, Adbc, love the atmosphere, beautiful cave.
adbc - great scene, the cave and its material is excellent. The "curved path" of the light on the floor leads to the lady that starts on a new journey.
Spuddy, adbc, Horo, Drachenlords, thanks.
Mermaid, I agree with you on the way the skirt falls. Unfortunately, I do not know how to handle the new clothing handling method of DAZ (that would be more physically correct), so I have to do with this version, I fear.
adbc: Fantastic entry. I agree with Horo and Mermaid. The light path is a great find and the atmosphere is wonderful.
mermaid, Horo, Hansmar : thank you for your comment.
adbc now this is really really lovely and looks even better when enlarged it really draws you in ..excellent job
Horo, I like your last entry: peaceful Scene... beautiful Light and Water.
Hansmar: your last entry is much better, but I agree with Mermaid about the dress and the legs.
adbc: "the start of a new journey" is really beautiful.
Thank you Yellow Pen.
MelanieL, thanks. I might make a version with a girl wearing trousers, which would not give such a trouble with non-realistic gravity defying clothes (in this kind of pose).
spuddy, Yellow Pen : thank you.
My scene with the reading girl is rerendering, but the girl has put on some new clothes, so the strange falling dress is no longer a problem.
But, in the meantime, I made my third entry. I used the Eastern dragon, Genesis, dragonlord and PH Punk (hair) and Marauders. The terrain is Ice flow (from the HDRI samples), but a bit modified. The sky is from the Landscapes under fantastic skies by David Brinnen and Horo.
Title: Journey into danger.
Hansmar - that looks like a great adventure. Great idea and entry.
Wow Hansmar a great entry, very well done.
Hansmar : fantastic render, cool idea.
Beyond the Seas of Thought
Thanks to Apoc for keeping the render challenges going. Sometimes a person needs about five pages of reminders that he's a musician and not an artist. This entry is inspired by an old song about a journey to the center of the mind. Come along if you dare, but please remember you might not come back.
BlackSnowSky - very nice idea and a very well done scene.
BlackSnowSky : I fully agree with Horo.
BlackSnowSky - welcome to the challenge, superb entry.
Horo, mermaid, adbc, thank you.
BlackSnowSky, Great entry, highly original.
And here is my final version of the reading lady. This will be my entry (second one). The lady now has different clothing. Pants that do not require physical effect of gravity and another shirt to go with it.
@ adbc:
The start of a new journey - a wonderful concept. The scene and the colors harmonize fantastically with each other. I would hang this picture on my wall. Very nice.
@ Hansmar:
Journey into danger - beautiful fantasy scene.
The final version of your picture has an interesting perspective. The cat on the armchair is really funny.
@ BlackSnowSky:
Welcome to the challenge. Really original scene and very well done.
Hansmar - the final version definitely looks much better, well done
Hansmar - indeed as mermaid said/wrote. It was worth to continue working on the scene. The cat on the armchair lying on its back is funny. I haven't noticed it before without drachenlords mentioning it, though it is there on the previous versions, also the first (on page 3) but on the floor half behind the armchair.
Hansmar: The final version of your second entry is much better. Well done. And your third entry is very well done too.
BlackSnowSky: Welcome to the challenge. And, a great entry.
drachenlords : thank you for your kind comment.
Hansmar : your final version is much better, very good work.
Hello again. Does anyone need more time for there submissions?
Thought the deadline was much later, just forgot to post it.
My last entry : Getting home in time.
lantern, suitcase, trees, tracks free objects from the net
femanoid free from Herminio Nieves
Apoc - I also thought there was more time like till the end of Sept, we invited Dartanbeck to join this challenge. But you can close it if you wish, I don't think I can get anything done in the next day or two. Thanks once again for continuing the Challenges.
Adbc- wow an amazing, outstanding entry, love the atmosphere and how you put it all together, awesome work.
