47th Bryce Render Challenge ♥ May Flowers ♥
Sponsored by Daz 3D
Theme for this challenge
May Flowers
Let's have an easier topic this time
Start of Summer - March Winds and April Showers bring forth May Flowers
All or any sorts of flowers, flowers gardens, vases of flowers, Still life, bouquets, nosegays, flowering shrubs, simple bunches of flowers, fallen flowers, buds.
Your imagination is the only limit
This thread is the WIP thread, so you can post here to show us how things are coming along before the render is transferred to the actual Contest thread for judging. You don't have to do that.we collect up all the finished ones and make the thread, with each render given a number and title, but no artist name shown, so it's a blind judging thread for the judging panel.
Rules
Please don't post your entry renders anywhere else until after the Challenge is judged, as judging is done in a blind judging thread, so the Judges don't know who has done which image.

Wow that doesn't give us much time, does it.
Oops should read June 16th
what a lovely theme... I think we can see wonderful Pictures here.
Ah, nice theme.
Oh dear, does no one want to enter the challenge this time?
Hopefully, we'll see some amazing work soon.
I'll do Chohole.... I work for it, but Bryce don't not really like what I want to do...
so we are a little bit fighting. (And I know I win...)

@spuddy: Really nice image, I like the point of view
@adbc: Well done. Not just the flowers, but the sky and the rocks are beautiful.
I made a new variation of my Poppy Meadow. Somehow I didn't really like the blurry effect and the trees. Which one do you prefer?
Electro-Elvis - still beautiful but I like the previous one with the DOF better, maybe just set the lens radius a tiny bit smaller.
Thank you, Horo. I am sorry, but I am not sure, if I understood you correctly. When the lens radius is set smaller, does it mean more poppies are less blurred, they look clearer?
Yes, there is Focal Length to adjust in what distance an object is focused (sharp) [hint: select the object/flower you want sharp, then click on Set To Current Selection, this enters the distance from the camera to the centre of the selected object into the Focal Length field]. The Lens Radius corresponds to the aperture of the lens and determines in what distance range the objects are well focused. A fully opened (photo camera) lens (f/1.2) has a small range of focus and a closer one (f/16) has almost no depth of field effect. The Bryce DOF controls are a bit unfortunate but the bigger the Lens Radius the shorter the sharp range is and the more blurred the image. Default is 0.10, if you set it lower - e.g. 0.075 or so, the sharp range becomes wider in distance, at 0.50 narrower. The centre of the object at the distance of Focal Length is always sharp.
Thank you Horo for the clarification. Much appreciated.
Electro-Elvis - I'm not sure which I like better, the 1st has a charming painterly effect and the 2nd is awesome too.
Electro-Elvis : Difficult choice, I like them both. Maybe you could follow Horo's advice and see the result.
My first entry.
Drawn Flowers
Used: Flowers by Lisa, a pot from Vegetation, both with modified materials, and the WhiteSphere HDRI.
I worked for a few days to get the effect I was after - it rendered in less than 20 seconds.
Wow a stunning render Horo
Horo : original idea, excellent image.
