Highlighted in yellow above, you spelled your Content directory location as DAS instead of DAZ. is that a typo in the forum, or is that true? DAS does not match what is in the Content Directory Manager.

That was a typo on the forum. Attached is a screen shot. Everything is spelled correctly.

I have not played with any of the configurations in YEARS. Yet all of my content is showing as uninstalled and my smart content has nothing in it. I used my smart content mostly for poses and clothing and in those two headings, nothing is showing up. There has to be some COMMON glitch that is causing this but I just can't seem to figure out what that common problem is or how to fix it.

    Anyone?

The Public Doccuments folder seems to have folders in it that should be in the My Daz 3D Library

I fixed the problem by using brute force. Since DIM was showing that nothing was installed even though it was, I decided to reinstalled everything -- nearly 5,000 products! This took nearly two weeks to do. It downloaded all of the files and put them in the same folders where they already were. The space on my drives remained exactly the same because the files were already there and they were just being overwritten.

Now, DAZ sees the products as being there. I don't know what went wrong and I'm assuming that there might have been a simplier way to fix it but after playing with it for over a week, I was making no progress and was out of ideas. Thankfully, this brute force approach worked.

I still would like to figure out what happened but I think that is going to remain a mystery. At least for now, I am operational again.
