Horo - very pretty, I love the colours and that rainbow-style effect.
Hansmar - Ah! I can see your images from yesterday now. I see what you mean about the testcard (for the first one). The second is very subtle but pretty. The third looks like a space module floating through a strangely symmetrical galaxy! Your latest pair: the first is rather like looking up a (well-lit) chimney. The second I really love the textures you used.
Here are my latest pair. For these I moved the camera back a little and set FOV to 180 degrees. I changed the planes to simple mirrors (no colouring) and added the starry HDRI as before.
#6 uses a material from the Pro Materials set but tweaked to be 100% reflective, 30% transparent, 20% ambience on the smaller sphere.
#7 uses a different tweaked Pro Material and a different HDRI for lighting.
Hansmar, the first is interesting because it looks like a paved ramp. Love the second one.
MelanieL, how do all of you get such interesting results. I got nothing like these. The first is kilts but I don't see the Scotsman. The second one rocks. Like that liquidy look.
NGartplay - thank you.
Hansmar - thank you. The lost images are back. Three interesting examples. The two new ones also look very interesting.
MelanieL, Horo, NGartplay, Hansmar : thank you.
Horo : wow, very cool render, the colour is awesome.
Hansmar : interesting renders, very different, excellent setup for both.
MelanieL - thank you. Two great examples. The first looks interesting and the second is beautufully chaotic.
adbc - thank you.
Adbc - I agree that looks like a carvinal mask
Horo - wow so beautiful
Hansmar - all the renders are very nicely done.
MelanieL - very nice renders, I also like the liquify effect of the 2nd
Thank you mermaid.
NGartplay, Horo, mermaid - thank you all.
mermaid : thank you.
MelanieL: Thanks. Wonderful examples. The first one has incredible details. The second one is like a dark hole absorbing the energy around it.
NGartplay, Thanks. I was thinking of a basketball court for the first new one, probably because of the colours.
Horo, adbc, mermaid010: Thanks.
New ones: same set-up as the last one, but now the cube is cutting of the full half of the outer sphere again. And different light and textures, same sky. First is perspective render, second is 360 panorama.
Hansmar, those colors pack a punch. The green is so pretty with the orange horizon running through it. the second one looks like a quiddich snitch (sp) from Harry Potter.
Hansmar - I love those deep colours, especially the panoramic one where the horizon line changes colour as it passes behind the different parts.
And thanks for your comments on mine. Actually I'm quite annoyed with myself today because I wanted to go back to that liquidy/dark-hole one and rework it a little, but found I had failed to save it and now I can't remember exactly how I did it!
Hansmar - two great examples, good colour chaoices.
some really fine imaginative examples with great textures everyone
moved stuff about a bit changed the lighting with a 360 view and my at the moment favourite material
spuddy - lovely! I can see why that's your favourite material.
spuddy - very nicely done.
Hansmar : very beautiful choice of colours, nice images.
spuddy : awesome abstract, great material.
I am really amazed at what everyone has done. Spuddy, so pretty
Spuddy, that is great. Lovely material, I understand why you like it a lot!
I made another one. This time a peackock tail (and egg?). The camera a bit higher than the center of the small sphere, as you can see.
Hansmar, that does look like feathers and an egg. Beautiful.
Hansmar - interesting result, indeed reminds of a peacock and an egg.
Hansmar : Awesome colours, indeed feathers and an egg, nice result.
MelanieL : I think I missed your beautiful latest abstracts, the liquified image is awesome.
Hansmar - I like your peacock feathers and egg, very colourful.
adbc - thank you very much.
Hansmar - the previous two are simply awesome love the vivid colors, the peacock feathers and egg is also awesome. Hopefully I'll get a chance to play now as I just completed my challenge entry.
Spuddy - another beautiful abstract
NGartplay, Horo, adbc, MelanieL, mermaid010: Thank you.
I made yet another one.
Hansmar, you've been able to make amazing images with your file. Beautiful.
I almost forgot I had another one ready already. This is clearly a view from the cockpit, don't you think?
Hansmar, an alien cockpit. Great POV.
btw, how do I make the sun placed where I want it. I thought it was ctrl+Alt on the screen. I just did it the other day and now I have already forgotten.
Hansmar - a nice pair of renders. I like the tropical frondy, leafy look of the first one and yes, the seconds one does have a cockpit style.
NGartplay - I believe Ctrl-Alt-Click is right (assuming you have double-clicked the sun roller-ball first). I keep forgetting too - I wrote it down on a piece of paper but (guess what) I lost the piece of paper - the joys of an elderly brain and a messy desk!
