    (EDIT)
I think I found the files, Windows 7 dose not put stuff in logical places, lol.

no. quick start duf is just a place holder.

    hahahahaha

no, it looks like notepad will not work.
I described a procedure that I would like you to try that works within Daz Studio

we doubled there with that notepad thing. If this works, is it possible to submit an update for the figures with the extra duf in it?

Well it appeared to work without falling on it's face for almost a minute, then giving an error.

So, the new Texture duf is using the G2F UV, and not wasting time looking for V5. That's considerable progress. Thanks.

Just wait for the update threw DIM, or go with the method outlined at the end of the former page (post #30).

Lyoness was talking about 'hacking' the file to make the changes, something a newb should not attempt. It is how I would have fixed it and have fixed similar problems and when I do I use Notepad++.

Notepad++, hmm. is that anything like GCC, or watcom c 9.0, lol.

That honestly looked more like fortran passed threw an HTML compressor, lol. Complete gibberish, lol.

I do not recommend that n00bs do any hacking.
however there are other ways to make adjustments and save them. There is nothing wrong with learning something new.

Needless to say that within a couple of days, there will be an update through DIM.

thank you so much. My apologies for some of the comments I made earlier in frustration with the 'Canned' tech support response I had received.

no problem, you had a specific question and it's not one that is readily handled by tech support. I didn't even know this thread was moving along until today or I would have jumped in A LOT sooner.
This was a question that was super easy for me to answer... not all of them are. And, it's more fun when we all learn together!!
