Well, here is a quick throw together, morph settings in the other post (with the Youth Posture) as well. That hair-line is probably an easy adjustment, I just got a little carried away with the other stuff in the render.
(EDIT) looks like that 'Scale' applied to the figure by the shaping dials, didn't translate to the hair completely. Easy enough to fix. Much better now.
Just looking at an Imported 3d model using Hexagon to import a 3ds file into Daz Studio. (I did center the rocked, and export it as an OBJ before this screen-cap). I may have done something wrong, to get this odd surface.
The gold areas, kind of flip between the proper color, and this.
The SaturnV 3ds zip file was (not responding) for at least a day, and I just didn't feel like rebooting the computer again, I just left it minimized until this morning, lol.
Just a quick look at something, lol. This is with the alt shader, the regular shader is, well, "It's thinking about it', lol.
Face-plant time, about 21 minutes... thankfully their's an AltShader, lol.
This is one of the figures I was planning on doing a nice render with, the evening that G3F was launched. The temple set looks really cool, tho like the outfit, I've yet to do a render to see how it all works out in 3delight.
Perhaps a few minor adjustments for some variation.
Morphs and figure Required.

Oh, and I'll add OziChick Neena, just for that nice hint of cat-toe (or whatever the animal was, lol), not shown here.
http://www.daz3d.com/neena
I could probably make the mouth a tad wider, and work on the arm and leg length a bit more. Tho I'm quite pleased with this.
I did end up setting the leg length to "-0.30", and the arm length to "-0.25". Then I got a tad distracted with color, lol.
Outfit... Ohhzee Summer (top, aka shirt), Ghawazee Coat for G2F (skirt, with some zones transparent), Patchwork shoes 4 and 6, and Princess Zyanya. I made the Princess Zyanya top bra cloth transparent, and adjusted the "ExpandAll" to get the rest to sit on top of the Ohhzee Summer shirt.
All the feathers on the headpiece are a single zone, and as such would require a lot of work to change the colors of the feather of each row. The rest of it has allot of zones for all the other parts.
As for the Ohhzee Summer, Ghawazee Coat, and Patchwork textures. I set it all to white "AElflaed's Fancy" basic cloth, and then set the diffuse backing color for each zone accordingly.
(EDIT)
FW Kyra, whom, Kyra, lol. That's one that I forgot to add to a post a few pages back, in any case. Here is also the same figure using FW Kyra's AltShader (maps and all). It was a half thought, lol.

And another with FW Lucille mats.

I was just looking at the list of morphs for G3F, and found another used by so many Gen6 figures that is no longer in the 'Basic' add-on sets. Androgynous.
O.K. so generation 7 is still in the 'Teething pains' stage of things, lol. And granted, some of the Dials not included in the set, are included with the base G3F now. Still, without the above mentioned dial, I have doubts that many figures will be possible at all.
I'm almost curious IF the follow-cloths issue has been fixed or not. I just don't feel like going threw that much effort yet again, just for it to not work.
(EDIT) well that was easy enough to answer, still broken.
To be specific, there was a tutorial for Studio one-dot-somethig that referred to using D-Form to make a shaping dial. In that tutorial it is mentioned that there is a check-box to have cloths follow the shape of the figure when the Shaping dial is set up. That check box was not demonstrated in that tutorial, and it dose not work.

O.K. one realy 'cute' figure, as I wait for some test renders to complete. EJ Valeria.

EJ Niebla not to happy with the cards she is holding.

The original image was a tad on the small side to see what was going on, it's still a tad difficult to see what the cards are at this size, tho it's good enough for here.
Another FW Eve moment in the background.
Neftis3D Lady Florence Hair, La Rancherita Outfit over-dress (upper fringe removed), Swamp Witch (skirt, to add the final touch of hand-me-down).
Well this is going to be a busy morning (looking at my email), and all this before coffee has soaked into the brain, lol.
I was going to look into packing up some of the trinkets I've made, and share them as a 'grab bag' of sorts. there is that monolith, that fractal-cube-thing. I have a few more ideas for different cube-things, tho it also requires me to pack up the 'ZdgStone' as a bundle to toss in. So it's going to be a bit of folder copying to get that all together and set up again. Little trinkets are nice to have around for a scene, especially when there ultra light on resources.
(EDIT)
I just did a quick spin-around test in the viewfield, and it looks like anything over 27x27 cubes (attached test render) is extremely demanding on the GPU in the viewfield. So a 81x81 probably is to much for a trinket, lol.
Note to self, saltire "Vicsek fractal".
Well, I almost have the 512x512 texture packed up, and it looks like the 1k maps will need to be a separate DL with the Megalith. It came out a bit better then I first thought it would, tho I'm not completely happy with the tile-ability of some of the Stone shaders. Still, incredibly good for small trinkets and stuff.
Now I need to pack up that Fractal-Cube-Thing, and see if I can cram it in with the ZdgStone Shader.
(I want the 'Cool Smile' and 'Cool hmm' back, those goofy things are not me)
the 27x27 Vicsek saltire fractal is over 12MB by itself without textures, WOW! I can't fit that one in with a 10MB limit per zip, and people will complain about errors when they haven't grabbed all the zip-parts, lol. Best to keep it simple I guess. Or do I just pack the shader separately, and list it as a 'You Must Get This', lol. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
It is partly done, the stone shader at least. I'll finish uploading that Obelisk after some rest.
http://www.sharecg.com/v/81718/view/21/DAZ-Studio/ZdgStone-Shader-set-01-for-3delight
OK, I had some second thoughts about that temple, not to say I got distracted with making nicer looking icons for the thing. The 'Color' of the thing, and that shader set, vs a color I know someone somewhere will want. Red Granite. Oddly, I don't have any floating around (yes, I'm surprised by that), and all the pictures of the stuff I could find online are not Red Granite or badly tinted for whatever reason (I'm not surprised by that, have a look, lol).
So here is a screen-cap of a single Obelisk at Katnak, and none of them are the same color, lol. So, No Red Granite from me, not until I'm holding a piece of it in my hand at least.
I'm tempted to say, the settings in the other screen-cap are probably allot closer then any of them photos taken at odd times of the day, tho I can't be sure.
OK, here is what I have so far, I want to add a few more styles of Obelisks to the set.
The smaller Oblisks are just over 200ft tall, the larger one (megalith) is just over 2000 ft tall.
Your FW Eve (and friends) moment gave me a smile this morning. It looks like those birds are enjoying morning coffee a little too well! :) Love the ragged look on Swamp Witch skirt.
I never did get to see the forum smilies (not got the right scripts enabled apparently). But good news that your name now fits with no changes!
Some excellent giveaways here, you are going to have a popular ShareCG account.
Embarrassing moment this morning before coffee, as I clicked the wrong link in an e-mail notification. I was thinking about many things, and coffee hadn't quite made it to my brain, lol. Yesterday I had received an PM that reminded me of two phrases that I have not been able to get out of my mind, never mind that, this is an Art forum. And Wilmap has again astonished me with something that may not be all that obvious to many.
Lose fitting cloths can be incredibly difficult to get to fit properly, and especially when they hang past another item, like in her Skirt and Blouse set. Here shown on LY Lenox as a random pick to see the outfit. Now I know some will point out that the cloth doesn't look right with the figure in this pose or that, yet setting up JCMs for something like this is shall we say, incredibly difficult at best (there are so many overlapping mesh zones to fuss with for all the Joints involved).
The outfit is incredibly nice, and there is always the D-form if you need the cloth hanging a different way.
Baloon-knee and draping loose cloths with a D-form.
I will make one single distinction. I am using adjustments to get the outfit to hang more naturally, not to get the thing to fit G2F Lenox without poke-threw.
Well, this is a very nice Blouse by Willmap, and to be fair, it would take hundreds of JCM things for each side just to get the cloth to hang well with many poses. The same thing can be done with a single D-Form. In fact Wilmap had asked about something called 'Balloon knee' months ago, and the simplest work around, was to use a D-Form.
Here I had already put one D-form on the skirt, to mend that little bit of Balloon knee, tho the shirt is not touched yet.
Having looked at the first test render, I can see just how far the left side of the blouse needs to be pushed in to look natural. So I'll put a D-form there, and make some adjustments to the cloth with it.
And here is the result, far more natural looking.
Looking at the side-view render, I can the pose and shirt are not all that natural looking, and the both need a bit more work. Tho I trust this is enough to show the concept. There is a few 'help' pages and a few tutorials on the forum about making and using D-form things.
Now with the skirts, to be fair, Every long skirt I have, I've had to use D-forms to mend Balloon knee. The only skirts that don't suffer from that are the short ones that don't come close to the knee, and the one dynamic circle skirt by Khaory.
lack of info, approximations, and blind guessing. Sounds like a good way to get accurate measurements of an ancient monument. So, here is "Oblisk4", not by any stretch close to exact duplicate of the one still standing at Karnak (Precinct of Amun-re)
So, it is 97ft tall, not 97.5ft, about 8.6ft wide at the base, and the pedestal was a blind guess. It is done, I'm moving on.
So, where is Oblisk2 and Oblisk3. Well the base of Oblisk2 got a little unwieldy, and it got morphed into Oblisk3. I've yet to do any renders of it, or make any tile/mat presets. That's next.
(EDIT) here we go, All three Obelisks (so I mispelled them when I made the things, oh well).
(EDIT2) And it is done.

Some random thoughts. Some time ago, I had went to save a Wilmap outfit, and the zip ended up with the file-name of a texture set from Pixar. I think I know what happened, as I decided to try to find an HDRI Environment map this evening, that quite a few were using to set up Iray materials. Well, now, That doesn't have a folder yet, and it is just close enough that I may have clicked it by accident as I was going between windows on the desktop. Very useful and tricky behavior windows has when your saving a file, lol. So mystery understood, what is ZDG doing with a Pixar texture set, admittedly nothing as of yet, lol. I have a mountain of my own texture maps that I have yet to pack up and share.
I was going to look at the Pixar set, tho I haven't had the time to go threw it nor the time to place the thing in a proper path as of yet (Along with some other stuff). As you can guess, This 'Luxo' thing is one of a few 'Pixar campus' HDRI maps around. I'm not sure it's the same one everyone else was using as of yet.
So, why am I even looking around for HDRI maps if I already have the Test chamber. Well think of it like Celsius vs Kelvin. While having a given quantity for measurement is good, not all measurement scales work best for all things. That and the Test Chamber is not set up for Iray yet. Something for the future. Now I do want to start looking at my own cloth maps in Iray, and look at what improvements I can make to my MS Paint pixel-counting methods.
The new forum has left my Texture Map thread in tatters, and none of the links now bring you to the specific post with the map in it. Fixing that would be an incredibly daunting task (Even IF I had permission to edit the older posts), and it may just be easier to organize them all into folders in a zip file anyway. Time for some coffee, and look at what direction to pursue with my projects.
(EDIT) Oh, and I had named the maps images accordingly to make using them a tad easier. And the New forum just gives you a long string of random numbers for the file names now. So maps named 'Whatever 01 Secular' becomes f164ba67eb70ea8711e00373b7ec50.png, lol. That dose no one any good.
Well by the end of last night, I managed to get some bare-basic stuff installed for Eva7, and did a quick test render of a floor for a set I'm making. The floor works, time to build this thing.
Something on the way. I have just barly enough now to play a litle bit, lol.
(EDIT)
Oh, that last image. L to R. Zayla For Giselle 6, Zyra (Giselle 6), and FWSA Siblings (Jaina, with another figures elf ears).
A little bit of an update on the progress of the 'forecourt' in the works. I still have to fix the seams on the outer walls, at least the ones that are not supposed to be there.
ZDG, thought I would put this here since the Bethany thread wasn't the thread for this discussion:
ZDG, I loaded the G3F base, loaded the basic wear clothing, as I see you used it in your examples. I then dialed up the Head 06 and Body 06 (the largest of the shapes) in my Metamorphosis set, so they are not standard G3F. As you can see, I had no trouble; I didn't even add a smooth modifier. What is your process that you are getting poke-through?
Hi Z, very cool, keep up the fabulous work flow
Hello yall, been busy with non-daz stuff. After fussing with G3F for a while, I decided to look at some stuff that I had gotten for G2F. And I found a few oddball goofs or something.
Apparently, Casino hair for G3F, is not for G2F, So don't believe that icon in the smart tab... it doesn't work as one would expect.
Unicode Smiley faces wipe out everything typed after it in this forum... And something about Colors for Pen Hair, not being in the smart tab when the hair is selected.
(EDIT)
OK, from the looks of it, "Colors for Pen Hair", is not entirely for "G2PenHair". It is only installed in the Genesis (1) path. So, even If the zone-names are the same, it will still take a bit of content-library path-navigation to use on G2F/V6.
O.K. The Pen hair G1F color presets do work with the G2F Pen hair. While I was fussing with that, this kind of just happend. I think we all remember "Cassia for Olympia".

I decided to take a little bit of time again, to look at the color setting between the Omni Shader, and the Daz Default Shader. Something I've been toying with off and on for the past year. In a way, I understand PAs not taking the time to make 'Alt Shaders' with the implied requirement that now Iray and 3delight mats 'need' to be made for figures. So, it puts people like me on the edge of pissing off the PA's when I list values for making 'Alt Shaders' for there figures (or post such settings, like the G3F Alt Shader). And on the same page, It's nearly impossible setting up scenes with stuff that has considerable Face-plant-time (Preprocess delay), making an Alt shader', Necessary.
I had been looking at some of the settings between the OmniShader vs how they behave in the Daz Default Shader, and it looks like a formula may be able to get it close. However, over the past year, some figures have gone off the deep end of odd surface settings (The ones that don't look normal at all in the Viewfield). Also The Eyes persistently do not behave when applying another shader (reflection strength spontaneously goes to 100%, and/or the maps don't transfer over). Allot of stuff that I don't totally understand why, or how to make an easy conversion process for.
The eyes Will simply require a Material Preset for each color option, just to keep the maps in there proper spots, and that is a considerable amount of tedious work. The off shaders on the other hand, I suspect it will take making new settings from scratch, as they don't convert over to the Daz Default Shader at all. Not imposible, just difficult.
I've been thinking about some discussion in Zev0's Shape Shift thread, and decided to have a look at an area that dose not require 'Auto Follow' to function for almost all things (except face masks). The nose. Quite some time ago, I had attempted to use morph sets to make a figure, and found some things missing. That is the only thing I'm looking at, and for now, on G2F only. For the moment, only for the two aspects of the nose, that I have not found a morph dial for (that dose not alter the rest of the face irrevocably).
As mentioned so many times, I simply can not get into the PA realm, for many reasons. Nor am I looking to compete with any products already released, I am 'thinking' more on the side of 'enhancing' existing products.
mjc26250 has a really nice prop in the works. The zones are really nice, and the uv-mapping on the flag is incredibly easy to work with. Shown here with a 'fictional' flag (something I tossed together in PhotoDeluxe before windows7 killed it), lol.
(EDIT)
Oh, before I get a flood of posts exclaiming, I got Antarctica at the wrong angle... The inspiration for the flag was rather simple. At that angle (about 30 degrees off), it almost looks like a lady in a Victorian dress dancing with the ice in a waltz of sorts. There wasn't much else to it, and it places cardinal distances from the pole at almost there furthest distance for a Deep-Space-network-Array.
In separate news, I've been looking threw the back log of stuff on the 'must buy' list, and thinking about some 'Difficulties' with the G3F line. I've decided that in light of the flood of funds I threw away on G3F Pro bundles that contain stuff that dose not "Play well together", I'd be better off avoiding that stuff till "a reasonable solution" can be found.
Today's "Shopping cart flushing" was not entirely devoid of G3F items, as I suspect that at least the skin mats may be of some use (Kathy, and Kelly). Also I know some stuff will indeed work, so long as the outfits support "Genesis 3 Female Body Morphs" (EJ Etta). Novica discovered an outfit that did not work on a figure, because it did not support the basic 'Female Body Morphs' used for the figure. So I'm going to be a tad bit more 'skeptical' of future outfits and "G3F Pro Bundles".
So what else was there. The long awaited "Ninive 6 Pro Bundle", and the flood of other figures for her. I really am looking forward to "Scott 6 Pro Bundle" even tho my current project is using "Diana And Jones" on "FW DerekHD". I picked up EJ Etta to finish that off, and I can't wait to see "Sela Hair" on her in that project. Distractions for this post, lol. I also just picked up, EJ Minina, Grantham Hall Suit, Harmoney, Deanne, Niska, Suzan Hair, Lena Hair, Vivienne, etc...
So, no, I do not dislike Daz3d. I'm just not particularly happy with how some thing are not working on generation 7, that needs to be addressed in a more reasonable way for content users (and the PA's that want to make custom z-brushed body shapes). Something tells me (by connecting dots), that if making custom "Push modifiers" and bundling them in with a custom non-daz z-brushed body-shaped figure, was as easy and simple as clicking a single check-box somewhere, I would not have a G3F figure collection right now that two-thirds of I simply can not use (A trend that dose not look good for generation 7).
So, while the Shopping cart plumbing works threw that set of orders I just made, I must head out to pay bills. I'm really hoping I can find time during the next week to start going threw that flood of stuff, and finish that 'Project'. I have a few other projects I've yet to start that I also want to get done as well. I have neglected far to much for far to long. Chat later y'all.
