Very nice! The atmospherics/volumetrics really make this look plausible to me, like a scene from a movie. The tilted camera angle adds drama. Cool stuff!

I can see why you're done with it- it's REALLY GOOD. I like the cool blue tones and the expressions really draw attention immediately.

@Tobias: Thanks for the compliment. It was fun to make.

@Novica: Thanks. I used those warhammer poses for the two main figrues.. They were kind of a pin, since they were gen 4, and wanted to have the character zoom off to a location on the ship. Wish there were some included zero poses. Great poses. Tough to use.

okay, I'm done with this. It is just one of those pieces that never came together for me.

Even if this wasn't quite what you were hoping for, it is an impressive image! Nice work!

Here's my sci-fi doctor Character. I was trying to kitbash several different outfits to make this work.

It definitely worked :) Looks like the outfit was that way originally.

If you like Sci-fi, the furniture I13-Expose-Pin-up-Set is quite cool and futuristic.

The Set also includes a nice floor, poses, a few cool chairs, and lights. I just threw the doctor on the chair for fun, but I am quite impressed with the set, and the ease of use. Here we are with default lights included with the set. I can easily see this chair in an alien room, with a less relaxed and more serious pose..

One thing to note, is the chairs have cushion morphs, so it looks quite better than your average chair when a character happens to sit or put weight on it.

PS: the set is pinup, so most of the poses are a bit sexy for me, but you could easily pair this furniture with less provocative poses.

Wow. Great render and awesome product from i13. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I've put it on my wishlist for now.

If only I had a bottomless pot o' gold.

Yes, I think the initial promo piece doesn't do Ironman13's set justice. I skipped over it entirely, but it is well worth it, just for the props and extras alone. =-)

Yeah, the pose on a guy is somewhat hammy, but I think the doctor can pull it off since he's an upbeat type of character. =-)

That really looks futuristic, and who cares WHAT pose he is in- he's dreamy, lol!

@Tarina Kivi. Yes, I like the way that pose looks. Very round, and fluid. Many poses for men look a touch stiff. He looks very relaxed in his awesome chair. =-)

I wanted to use the escort Weazel for something, since I'm quite grateful for PC plus and getting it for free. Unfortunately, my studio has been acting up and I've been getting a lot of 'DAZ Studio has stopped responding" Messages, which seems to be effecting more complex renders.

I really liked the way Ambush Alley works with Iron Fort. I think Iron Fort by Petipet is very well done, and really seems to compliment the stark rocky landscape of Ambush Alley.

Here is Klyd. Gen X to the rescue again, allows me to bring heads and morphs from Gen 5 to Gen 6, with good results.

Agree! Those look good together. Great scene kit-bashing. The vehicle goes very well with that terrain too, and the lighting makes the viewer feel like they are there.

Very Nice SereneNight! Great composition and lighting! I love the big cat and the new armour but every time I see a render of the cat I always think how flat the bottoms of his feet are....shouldn't they have some rounding because of the pads?

@Kharma: Thanks for the compliments! Yeah, the cat has a few flaws which I find really distracting.. The "Hoof like" Paws are just one of them. Sure, you could probably curve the pads out a bit with postwork, but you shoudn't have to. The pads look awful. I should probably fix that.... Postwork.

The other flaws as I see it are with head shape, which actually is a little off especially around the eyes, and the mouth texture which just doesn't look as good as I would like.

the cat model just needs an update.

Okay, as promised in Novica's thread am going to show a few ahem. Older images of mine, with the Topaz filters to make them look toony. You can add a little or s lot. The final image should be the one I just did.

This filter is a lot of fun. I like it. =-)

Yep, the filter is a lot of fun. And will be useful too, especially if you want some line art style comic-book renders or want to add a smoother to skin.

I will experiment with making more realistic and painterly effects as Ignis's wonderful images but I suspect a light touch is in order, and I'm using the filters at strong strength.

Here we go. Just one of two new pieces I've done lately. I really wanted to start using more photoshop so really began to delve into my ron's war elements brushes to see what I liked.

Yeah, I'm addicted to Topaz. :)
Ron's brushes are awesome. A lot to wade through.
One thing- is it just me or does the man on the left have an extremely low waistline? It looks like he got stretched to me. Like where the waist is, there's too much below the belt? Maybe it's the view but it just looks odd to me.

@Novica. It doesn't look odd to me, I like it, =-) but I think what you are seeing is the effect of his arms being raised high to shoot, which lengthen's Lee's torso a bit more, that in conjunction with the foreshortening and the shape of the figure in this style of outfit may be what bothers you. It seems when the arms are up that high on this figure you see a lot of length in the torso.

he is 100% lee, and the only tweak I did to his base was to lengthen his left shin so that his foot would hit the ground in back. Since he is highly foreshortened, this tweak isn't noticeable.

I tried a different image of lee on the ground and you still get a fairly longish torso. It may be that just is how this fella looks in his bodysuit.

Yep, it's his pose and that outfit configuration. I like the second one better, but that's just me. On both, like your lighting- it's subtle and realistic. And the expressions are just the right intensity!
