Here's the fourth one. There's a kilobyte limit on the size of the files so three large renders doesn't leave quite enough room for the fourth one. :)
Rocky Outcrop (Predatron)
http://www.daz3d.com/rocky-outcrop
This loaded and rendered quickly, it's my lightset ( four distant, three spots)
I rotated around and then did a closeup (number four) of number three's tree. Nice detail.
I like the crispness of the set. The branches do give me the feeling of wrapping around and over the other objects. However, if you look at the second render, there is one weird branch that forms several "Z" turns instead of smoothly flowing like the other branches. It's on the second large rock from the top, near the middle, in the second render.
Palantiliths (Orestes Graphics)
http://www.daz3d.com/palantiliths
The choice of ice or fire is really nice (or nothing, you can have these plain.)
This is still my light set, trying out variations of just distant lights, or two distant and three spots, etc. No UE2.
Thought you might like to see what it looks like with just the glowing lights. I'm sure your creative minds will think of a way to use those. Add some Ron's Photoshop Brushes with weird wisps and you have a cool sci-fi apparition beginning to appear.
Nice detail up close too.
I'll post the other two in the next post. :)
And the other two Palantiliths.
EDIT: These all load individually, you can move them around as you please. You also select the fire or ice (red or blue) glow for each one.
Greeble City Blocks (Stonemason)
http://www.daz3d.com/greeble-city-blocks
Oh, it's playtime. You get 20 different building components and the real fun is embedding them in each other to make buildings that weren't necessarily intended. Here, I only used four buildings and those arches sticking out are from another building which are nestled inside the ones you can see. (Scaling helps with that.)
The last render hid one of the blocks so you can see "inside" and how that block covers part of the arches so only part of them poke through.
Note how the edges don't line up, to avoid boring squares. One section will extend past the other section.
Neitherhenge (Oreste Graphics)
http://www.daz3d.com/neitherhenge
First of all, the sky/skydome is not included. As it was in all the promos, I went to the product page to check and ensure I wasn't missing something. No big deal, but it will save you the time of looking. :)
This is a fun set- you can load the arches individually, the vendor gives you a lot of creative freedom.
The ground plane is fine, the rocks are overall good quality. There are a few sharp edges which look better from different angles, so be sure and check those out for your camera choices. The rocks, closeup, are crisp, and don't appear to float above the ground plane like some other products. (Due to planes being blurry.)
You can choose to have the arches glowing or non-glowing.
Renders extremely quick. 40% at 20 seconds! 61% at a minute, etc. Done before a minute and a half.
EDIT: No light sets included. These are my 4 distant, 3 spots.
BeachCorner ( 3djoji)
http://www.daz3d.com/beachcorner
One nice thing I noticed immediately was the light preset (which is UE2) did NOT take out my existing set. I like that! This is the default light set without my lights added.
Second thing I like is the render time, about 3 minutes at .20 shading rate. Also has nice props in the scene to make it interesting. Love that little sun sign!
Don't worry about the walkway appearing to be floating in your viewport- when rendered, it lays flat.
One thing I don't like is the sharp edges around the waterline. Should be smooth and flowing. I'm not talking about those little waves, look on your left where the sand curves out.
Look at the fun detail in the outdoor shower head.
As it says in the product description, this is designed for use with the Toon Generations. THEY ARE NOT REQUIRED PRODUCTS. I think they should only list products that are required for the product to work.
If you search for this without using my link, it is ONE WORD. Two words sometimes doesn't provide results.
Wood Chopping Kit (DAZ3D / Nimos)
http://www.daz3d.com/wood-chopping-kit
If you are a PC member and don't have this, my goodness, look at the details!!!! Jaw dropping.
And as the description says, "The logs can be duplicated and re-sized to create an infinite variety of random looking piles of firewood."
Wow, that is a big render pixel wise. Google Chrome shows scroll bars when I view the large size but Firefox doesn't show scroll bars.
I post a lot of the 2000 pixel ones if they render quickly, so people can click to enlarge and click again to get the details. In Chrome, I don't have to scroll, it does exactly that- click then click again to enlarge, but it only really zooms on the part where you click. Aka, the entire thing won't be able to be zoomed in on, it's centered on where you click. Weird thing is, about two months ago, my Chrome did exactly as you are saying, that there are scroll bars. But mine doesn't do that anymore.
Rocky Flats (FirstBastion)
http://www.daz3d.com/rocky-flats
There are low and high poly choices, the first two are just the file labeled Rocky Flats High Poly. I must be hungry or something, parts of this remind me of chocolate fudge swirl ice cream.
Am confused as to whether some files are supposed to fit together or what to do, the third image is "Hidden Waterfall placement" and is a prop. Is there a waterfall somewhere in here? There's also Old Waterhole. I've loaded all these up separately and together and the scene is just too complicated to see a waterhole or waterfall.
Anyway, here's some peeks at the high poly, then just the base. Could use it for a desert.
I have wanted that. It would go well with this:

You have been busy today, Novica! I like the Rocky Outcrop especially. You did some cool things with the Greebles. I have both sets and like to play with them but haven't used them much in renders. Stonemason is coming out with a third set "soon" he said on his Facebook page.
I think the “Hidden Waterfall placement” for the Rocky Flats set is meant to place his Hidden Waterfall together with the Rocky Flats.
I have some more things I can post, just simple product renders. I will be happy to. :)
Would love some simple product renders. I won't be doing scenes anytime soon :) Feel free to jump in.
Well, I'm really confused. The Hidden Waterfalls is almost $30.00 and has a similar scene setup- seems standalone. Oh well, whenever I get ready to use it, guess I'll find out. :)
EDIT: I checked, and I have The Hidden Waterfalls so I'll check it out in the near future.
That is a great idea!
Secluded Rendevous only has the StudioCF in Install Manager. I checked in Product Library and the main file IS there. So if you use it you'll have to manually do the main file.Anyway, that's the one I'm on at the moment.
EDIT: I give up. Manually installed, can't find it.

Rocky Flats Grassy Stone (FirstBastion)
http://www.daz3d.com/rocky-flats-grassy-stone
Just some quickie renders as I'm testing the sets. Not really tweaking the lighting to do the very best that I could, using my light setup (4 distant, 2 spots, sometimes adding UE2) so I have a feel of the set. The Grassy Stone product rendered quickly too.
Stone Accents- Fences ( DAZ 3D / blondie9999)
http://www.daz3d.com/stone-accents-fences
Okay this is going to be a very different example- I left the fences and balustrades where they loaded so you can see how creative you can get. Why settle for regular accent fences when you can go with unique! :) So these loaded at World Center, on top of each other.
There are short walls and medium walls and you can also translate on Y to raise up the balustrades, which is what I did. Enjoy, it was fun!
VistaViewer (The AntFarm)
http://www.daz3d.com/vistaviewer
Really nice detail!
The ground plane can be useful for other scenes too.
which way to go

Sasje- that is really adorable! You literally almost brought your render to life- so perky and full of energy! The fog just adds a wonderful touch. :)
Thank you Novica :)
A Stage For Dionysus (Predatron)
http://www.daz3d.com/a-stage-for-dionysus
It's so nice to have an ocean along with a stage! Just reading the title, I had forgotten there was water in the set. Renders quickly.
EDIT: Yes, you can load just the water. It will have wavy edges, but you can rotate your prop that you want to insert and tip the side down which is closest to the water. I did it with Palantiliths and had a few rocks sticking up through the water. Looked pretty good but I would have to tweak it more before I'd want to render it.
I just can't stand this, I have to share a whacky thought. This would make an excellent swimsuit. Slap it on a character, put them at the beach, and it would fit in nicely for a conservative family outing. EDIT: And you can get it for $5.98 if you get two of the other items in that category. Sixty percent off.

The Old Waterhole (FirstBastion)
http://www.daz3d.com/the-old-waterhole
Continuing on...here's more quickie renders.
This one is easy to render and takes about five minutes (.30 shading rate) Nice views from different angles.
Light set is included.
Free bundles. Shop now. I don't know if this is a glitch or permanent price reduction.

Thanks, barbult! I could have used that volleyball net last month for RRRR. I almost bought it. :-)
Very nice render, Sasje!
LOL, Novica, lots of props and landscapes! I have a ton of Antfarm stuff because his textures are always so great. I love First Bastions terrains too.
Thanks for the heads up Barbult :) I already have all the items, but it's a good deal!
Cliffhanger (DAZ 3D / Jack Tomalin)
http://www.daz3d.com/cliffhanger
There's the gorge area and the cliff face. You might have to watch the rocks in the foreground as they really blur out, I like the set at more of a distance. It just depends on your camera angle, and from slightly above will do better.
Yeah, that's what I happen to be working on while I'm categorizing. Just wait till I get to the clothes- you'll be asking, "Where's the landscapes?"
