I'm not sure I have an NVIDIA card. Everything worked fine until yesterday ... what happened?

Only a few Macs have Nvidia cards that will work with Iray, and those are more than 5 years old and using Iray with those cards is almost pointless.

You definitely don't. I'd update the intel graphics driver if you can. It may just be that the IGP's drivers are very old.

I contacted apple support and they told me that my computer does not need this type of update. it is clear that the problem has existed since the DAZ update was made and I must resolve as soon as possible. Keep in mind that this month alone I spent almost $ 500 on daz products. I'm very angry

Not sure the older NVidia cards will work unless their drivers can be updated. On a desktop Mac, this may be possible, but on a MacBook, drivers are updated through system updates, so it depends on what the OP has. I'm on a late 2016 MacBook Pro and have CPU checkmarked and it renders Iray, just takes longer since it's CPU.

Hi, my mac does not require any type of update of this type and there are none available on the official website. I would like to return to my version of DAZ 4.10 because I found this problem after updating DAZ. If I can't render it, it's a serious problem. I contacted support and they also tell me to update NVIDIA. I'm not sure I have this kind of graphics card. Mine is an IMac 10.10

You don't have an Nvidia GPU. You should be rendering on CPU. Try rendering in 3Delight and report if you still can't render.

3delight works, I've already tried. but I'm interested in rendering in iray. I've been going crazy since yesterday. I have already contacted support. I am waiting patiently for them to reply. Meanwhile, they sent me a coupon to reward me for purchases made in the last few days ... but are they kidding me?

May be the cpu is set for dforce so there's no device available for iray .. it's just a guess. Try disabling dforce and see what happens.

By the way using a mac is a poor choice for iray. So even if it works it'll be very slow. You can use 3DL with a couple of addons instead to get good pbr results.

Thanks.

Prova a dormire dforce e guarda cosa succede.

A proposito, usare un mac è una scelta sbagliata per iray. Quindi anche se funziona sarà molto lento. È possibile utilizzare 3DL con un paio di addon invece per ottenere buoni risultati.

  • I have the same problem. I have a mac  2009 tower. I had Studio 4.10 running fine. Updated to 4.12 and now it won't render. I tried updating the drivers on the graphics card, no luck. Tried Nvidia web drive as well, that didn't work. I have a tech support ticket in, the issue is still open
