Very well done Gordig, I hope the center is not her daddy holding a hand chopping cleaver.

Thanks a lot everybody for commenting on my work!

@L'Adair those close ups on the cat eyes / faces are very cool! very well made and great choice of object ;) Those would go reall nicely on the wall

@Gordig that is a very creative idea and I love it, especially how they come out of their frames!

Thank you everybody, for your kind words on "The Gallery Wall." I was inspired by a print on canvas I bought almost 20 years ago, a set of tiger eyes.

@Gordig, that's a very interesting image. I love how he is climbing out onto the mantel and how her dress cuts off at the opening, coming out over the mantel as well. I do hope you'll let us know when the middle world is completed. If not an update to the post, at least a link to the image in the Galleries!

Some really spactacular and fun images, everyone. Space, cat eyes, people leaving their frame to visit some other images among others ;)

I seem to have made a thing, too. It's not much, but it's in before the end of July :)

@mori_mann, It looks like "much" to me. I see a lot of work in this render, and a lot of thought: You've rendered three images of horses to fill the frame, as well as the image showing off the frame. It's a very rustic frame, too, and perfect for the horses. The set around the frame is minimal, just enough to look like a real home, but not busy…

    Very well done!

mori_mann, I totally have to agree with L'Adair, mostly cause she is right most of the time, great render.

I'm glad you enjoyed it . But technically it kind of does fit the theme & i'm kind of surprised no one caught it ., because every photo that was taken during the scene was a picture within a picture viewed on a cell phone, then viewed by the third party, 3 animated views all in one shot,  which I put together to show that after each scene of the photo in the photo view by end scen with the 3rd party. .Kind of a creative Easter egg.  :)

    I know people hate animators...lol

haa.. yes.. I see what you mean... Not exactly a diptych or triptych though cause they are not hinged together.. but way to streeeeeeeetch the rules... ;)  besides... you already posted a render this month :PPP  lol

I need to start a MISC show off thread... hummm

btw.. I looooooove animators... I'm just jealous cause I can't animate worth a nickle!

    Thanks :)

@L'Adair It was a bit of work, yes, although the horse pictures are quick, small 3DL renders, so they didn't take very long to make :)

Saphirewild You did think out of the box!

    Linwelly Impressive, superb!

    L'Adair Wonderful image!

Ivy As usual love your animations! And it depicts the making of a sort of polyptych.

Gordig Love this one! Great story telling.

mori_mann I love horses! So with this I am in heaven! Great "photos" that look so natural.

I loved watching your take on the theme! Thank you for making this great thread @Llola Lane

Found on the web : Traditionally, diptychs were hinged like books that could be folded. In modern art, it is common for artists to create two separate panels designed to be hung next to one another. (https://www.liveabout.com/what-is-a-diptych-1123051)

Some really interesting and inspiring approaches to the theme this month!

    bigh As usual, fascinating images.

deeleelaw57 I am sure there is a truly devil story here!

Ivy Cool Dragon, interesting technique. & a fun animation.

Llola Lane I like the idea of having a picture which includes a diptych; PLUS lovely cats!

    FENgari Love this!

    Saphirewild Looks good to me!

    Linwelly Outstanding!

L'Adair Wouldn't mind having this on my wall.

Gordig Intriguing image, I quite like the middle panel just as it is because it lets the viewer's imagination do the work.

mori_mann Horses are great, love the overall feel of this, the frame and setting all works together.

xmasrose (aka tulipe) Great idea! Looks like somebody is heading for trouble.
