    Poser User, here is the model with some simple shaders on the model . I am fairly close to being able to give you the model , I just have to apply some morph targets to the gravity arms so the contract, handle bars turn etc.

    Do you can create the UV projections for applying textures (4000x4000)?

    I haven't UV mapped it yet , so I have a few things left to do. I will unwrap the model of the main body ,seats etc but not the entire model. Unwrapping the mesh can be a pain so we will see how it goes.

    I also have to find the best way to get the obj into poser , I am assuming an unsmoothed version of the model can be imported into Poser then I can smooth the model in poser?

    I never smoothed model in Poser. I used Bryce for this.

    Just looking at the obj file size of the model when I export it. , it is way to big I think. The obj has 78,000 polys so I will have to optimize the model , in Carrara the model is very manageable with the sub d smoothing(170kb) .

    Looks good:-), I think the figures could be a little smaller though or I have to adjust the windshield a little.

    Maybe the windshield should be tilted forward to the vertical position.

    Here is another image in Carrara using the genesis figure . I did change the model and windshield a bit but I think making the characters smaller should help out as well.
    I have uv mapped most of the model and will work on the morphs next.

    Very cool model, but... :) Guys, do spacebike ever needs a windshield at all ? Especially the one with gravity engines. Can't it use the same trick to create a capsule of warped space around it that will protect riders better than a piece of glass ? And I remember that Poser-User wanted to place them into chronosphere or like already.

    I have thought of this about the windshield but I guess I thought this space bike would also work inside atmospheres as well. I don't know exactly how gravity bikes work;-) but I would assume they could distort/maniputlate gravity wells within an atmosphere as well. At any rate I think I will make it so that the windshield can be made invisible as well.

    The windshield is not required in open space, but this model has a more universal application. I can make the windshield is completely transparent.

    Russian engineers have created similar devices on the basis of the gravitational engine (the quantum engine). Unfortunately, I did not find the English version of the site. http://www.quanton.ru/kosmicheskie-letatelnye-apparaty/

    But it's only a movie, and we should not create an exact copy of the model with gravitational engine. I need to create a scene according to the text of the screenplay and this model looks most correctly with the contents of the film's plot.

    Being russian engineer myself I regret to say that the site You have mentioned is just an example of false science. He got his "patents" using the backdoor in the patent law of Russian Federation but nothing in them is working in reality (but that didn't prevent some dumbheads in Roskosmos from actually trying to build and test these "engines" :) ). I even was once involved in court case regarding his "inventions".

    They promise to create a quantum engine in three years. It remains to wait a bit and we will know for sure. :-)

    I finished sixth episode of "Lost Planet 2" movie. I will have to do 12 more episodes. :-)

    Если я буду отдыхать по два месяца из-за отсутствия 3D моделей, то я закончу фильм не ранее 2018 года. Кошмар! :-(

    The screen time increased to 37 minutes.

  • I solved the problem with the placement of the hair inside the helmet. Poser have a very handy tool for this. Now I can start working with the ninth episode of the movie.
