Wow, that 2nd one is excellent use of Visual Style Shaders!

  • Agreed, the VSS one is really really good!

Cartoonized Toon Girl, together with Toon Boy. It only slightly changed the appearance of Toon Girl, though.

Thank you @nonesuch00 and @Worlds_Edge, that's really kind of you :-)

I wasn't intending to do a second render but I sort of started playing with toon shaders on her because I wasn't really satified with the first image. What really surprised me was how different the model looks when you apply VSS to her. The only changes I made to the morphs I'd used was to change the ears back to human and yet she looks so very different. At some stage I'm going to try using Skin Builder on a toon figure to see what I can come up with, but that requires me to get more competent with that, lol.

So of course I picked up Cartoonized for Genesis 8 Male smiley This is my first piece of artwork using the product along with Cartoonized for Genesis 8 female. The models are Latonya 8 and Novak for Genesis 8 Male.

    I really love these products!

Cartoons are doing great with all of the new characters and products offered today (by lady little fox and others).  Here, I played with Posey and Dark Anime Eyes.

    Looks nice, Worlds_Edge.

I am still debating on purchasing this set.

I like the set a lot.  A bit Sakura-ish, but more rounded.

I have tried to make a male version of Clove - https://www.daz3d.com/clove-and-wytch-accessories-for-posey-and-petunia

As a male he just winds up looking like a young boy if you take averages and expectations into account.

    Thanks for the comments, nonesuch00.

Clove is very tricky, when mixing with the other morphs, but Posey and Petunia are even more.

I added 50% of Vladimir 8 and noticed, when I dialled it further, the eyes just pops up out of the character.

Also need to change the eyelashes. Or shorten them. That would help. (Yes, I know, some men and boys have lovely eyelashes, but we're going for stylization here.)

  • ArtiniArtini Posts: 9,462

Oh yes, I have forgotten about eyelashes, but I like their look so much.

You could also change the textures altogether, see if one that comes with thicker brows works.

  • nonesuch00nonesuch00 Posts: 18,131

Wider square chin, squarer jaw, smaller cheekbones, thin lips, higher nose tip & bridge,  and it's still look like a Posey/Petunia stylistic mate I think.

Thanks a lot for such a great tips, Worlds_Edge and nonesuch00.

I wish, I could use cartoonize, but I have tried and the eyes also pop out of the character.

I snagged toon Larry.  A nice "annoying neighbor" type toon, imo.  The first one his Larry out of the box.  The other two are mixed with other characters and using morph sliders.  The nose is difficult to change, but perhaps I didn't try long enough.  I think he adds some good toon genes to the gene pool.  I'm hoping his eyebrows can be used on other toons as good male toon brows are hard to find.

I consider but haven't yet mainly because it was only mixable with the Morpheus morphs (if the Morpheus morphs were transferred to Genesis 8)
