Thank you! I'm glad you noticed. I love pulp covers and have a book that feature's their art. In many ways Owen and Boyd embody the spirit of pulp adventure.
Here's Boyd in his green St. Patrick's briefs. I used fit control on the briefs for women ( I think in the previous page) that were too high earlier. I think the adjustments really worked. I was able to lower the waist and push the underwear out a touch. There is a slightly more risque version on my Deviant Art account.
I have have had this weight scale in my runtime forever, so it was time to put it to use. I used the https://www.daz3d.com/military-camp-infirmary also for this one.
Yeah, I know, why is military of the future is using one of these old fashioned scales? I have no idea. But, in absence of a futuristic one, we will enlist this one.
I imagine, Owen's making good headway on gaining his weight back but he's needs to reduce his emaciation dial before this doctor is satisfied with his progress.

I think Boyd is more interesting on the scales this time. So I redid that last one.
The challenge for this one was to illustrate a character reading a book. Both Owen and Boyd read. But Boyd prefers reading chips inserted in his brain. Owen likes physical books. Sadly for owen, Boyd is proving too much of a distraction so he may not get to finish his exciting copy of "What the dogs taught me."
Owen and Boyd with the new Lee Altern8 shaders applied.
Yeah, it might be challenging to get any reading done under those circumstances, lol Great renders as always.
Good to see Owen's feeling better, even if Boyd is actively hampering his literary studies. x)
yeah. Boyd is very hard to ignore.
It is only fair, Owen has hampered boyd’s Ability to concentrate for at least 5 years now. =-)
They're too sexy for their own good.
Aww... Thanks. =-)
I wanted to do a scene where Boyd invites Owen and Grandpa Silas to meet his family at his family's home.
I haven't fleshed out Boyd's family life too much and it is in the process of revision to make it somewhat... Less complicated. We do know that he has 3 older half brothers and two younger siblings. Possible from his father's previous marriage We also know that his family is weatlhy and that his grandparents are quite snobby which is why Boyd has been reluctant to take Owen home with him and expose Owen to their obnoxious behavior. His eldest brother, Tate. Disappeared.
Boyd describes his childhood as lonely, so it is likely that he was schooled at home due to his illness.
I think Boyd is quite close to his mother/foster mother, as they have a lot in common. Boyd secretly fears he will become controlling and hardcore like his father.
i had some trouble finding sophisticated part clothing that scream wealthy. This about all I could dredge up.
For those of you curious what Auto Shape enhancer does, here, I have done a before and after image of Boyd using the shaping tools. It is easier to see if you flip back and forth between the two pics.

After Auto Shap Enhancer
Pointing out the details
Could of used a Auto-Enhancer that did the opposite more I think - ever so subtlely softening and slightly pudging up G8F & G8M in the right places.
It seems designed to improve the bends. The sharpening look is a side effect I think. It really does a nice job on the shoulders and arm. You'd have to try it on a softer character and see how it looks.... It might look just as nice. The promo figure is fairly slender. So it shows a subtle change.
I do believe all of the Boyd/Owen couple renders have gotten an itch going in the back of my mind to do a few myself. I always enjoy seeing how you have those two interact.
I would love to see them Darwin! I love male couples art.
I think this shows a bit better how much improved the shoulder bend and elbow ooks. I find I don't like the neck bend as much at full strength and will dial that out a bit next time.
Wow, I missed that one the other day. It is my new favorite of your renders.
I'm not so sure if it's an improvement or not. LOL, my body is too soft to validate in the mirror and that's an unusual pose for a non-bodybuilder to be in and the camera angles for bodybuilders are usually not from that angle.
Hm. :) Then I shall see about the first "set" and hope it works!
It was tough to decide whether it was just 'different' or "better" I settled on better. The muscles of the arm are where it is particularly noticable to me. Of course like everything it is a matter of opinion. =-)
Ooh, I'm very excited to hear it.
Hee. Let's hope what I have in mind works. ;)
I'm sure everyone here can't wait to see what you have in mind. =-)
I picked it up the other day, but only tried it out this afternoon. It gives some interesting results and is heading in the right direction. I'm happy with it and, with the correct dial adjustments, I think it'll work quite well.
I dredged my wardrobe for possible tennis clothing. It was hard to find shoes with white bottoms! But since I bought the playground HDRI I had told myself I needed to use them. Boyd is not yuppie enough so we will likely have to look deeper in my wardrobe for appropriate tennis wear.
The tennis racket and ball is Victoria's. Men aren't allowed to play tennis in Dazlandia.
There aren't any tennis poses, so I will be making some eventually I gather.
As far as Tennis goes, neither of the guys play, but Owen may have learned in High School since he's a bit of a jock. Both guys like doing things they have never done. So tennis lessons together seems like a fun thing to do.
Has anyone considered categorizing by wardrobe type. It occured to me, while I was hunting through my wardrobe of men's thing that it would be nice to have shoes all in one locale. And it made me wonder if there would be some value to doing that for the same generation to make things easier to find.
I also for example am certain I have at least 7 mens watches, but they are parts of sets, and I'm just not sure where they are when I need them.
Anyway, kinda thinking of doing that. It might be a useful experiment.
Items should be categorised by type under Wardrobe.
