different lighting - I deleted the extra distant lights and added a spotlight behind the camera. The walls look dull and flat. Time to try another light setup.
I added a spotlight that is near the ceiling and pointing downward. The scene looks darker. I think I changed the intensity of the other spotlight by accident. Maybe I'll try an uber area light to see what the scene will look like.
The Intel integrated graphics chip on the dual-core Pentium is slow. Windows 7 swaps data to disk because there is only 4 GB of memory installed. I'm not going to do any more fancy renders on this computer.
My parents ordered a laptop for their home office. I can install Daz Studio and Vue on the new laptop. I don't know the exact specifications of the laptop. I think the laptop has a dual-core Pentium with 8 GB of memory and an Nvidia mobile video chip.
I'm going to play with lights and skin textures while I wait for the laptop to arrive. Quick test render of dwarf Lana before I go eat lunch.
Test render Olympia and Michael 5. 32 bit Daz Studio almost ran out of memory on Windows XP. I'll redo the scene on the new laptop when I get a chance.
ah.. looks like my parents bought an i7 laptop with integrated Intel graphics. Hopefully the 4600 chip is a lot faster than the 4000 chip on the i3 computer.

The scene containts an Uber area light and two distant lights. I'll keep playing with the lights.
finally some decent light. I swapped the uber area light for an advanced spot light.

I must have accidentaly deleted the spotlight behind the camera. I'll add it tomorrow.
I swapped one of the distant lights for a spotlight. The spotlight is pointing the wrong way.
Finally, some decent lighting. Now I just need to adjust the colors.
I wanted to test some light colorss using backdrops made easy.
Catgirl in yellow light. I'll try to render a version with modern deco soon.
My computer is outdated. You already knew that.

I should adjust the poses in image 579 too.
I just noticed that the image is in PNG format.
Below is one more render of the dwarf. Now I will look at some skin textures in my runtime library.
Here is an old scene showing Luke and Katie with a different camera angle.
Amaterasu the halfling fighter. I just dialed a child shape.

I installed Vue Pioneer on the new laptop but I forgot how to use Vue. lol
Reminder for me to work on the old scenes that have Stephanie Petite and Luke.
Tomorrow I will reinstall Daz Studio and Vue on the fast laptop.
fun with single core computer from 2006
Tip of the day: save your Daz scene files frequently. You never know when Daz Studio or the content manager will decide to crash without much notice.
I had to reboot the computer and remove some orphan references from the content database.
I stil haven't decided whether to return Natural Petite Breast Morphs. I'll do some more test renders of the small breast shapes.
In case you haven't noticed, I am posting renders of Natural Petite Breast Morphs for Victoria 6.

The keyboard on this laptop is getting hot. I'm going to upload a render soon.
