  • Thank you!  I'm glad everyone is enjoying the process of Danior!  He'll be ready for testing soon- working on tattoos for the man.

For Sylph, the tattoos are not LIE Carola, sorry.  Most of the tattoos I do for characters do not go into the LIE system; I save that for my tattoo sets (where I include one or two from various character sets each with a few new ones for a collection).

Suspected that, but was worth to ask :) Absolutely LOVE the one on her leg! So if you plan to make a tattoo set that would have my vote * "innocent" grin*

  • Noted!

Did this one for fun and learned a thing or two for postwork processes in the meantime.  Checking out how the tats look so far; need to finish up the rest of them now.

  • The tats look awesome. Love the image. He sure is drool-worthy cheeky

  • Thanks, FM!

Ok- this had me snickering.  I was working on learning how to do fur/hair in Zbrush; it is a great turorial, however, my skills aren't there yet.  So, this happened.  It amused me enough to share my failing.

Maybe not fur or hair, but I think it would be useable in a number of props. The first that comes to mind is a pom-pom, like fans wave at sports games; sort of a cone on a stick with strands coming out. A thin edging would make a great fringe on the sleeves of a coat, or the end of a blanket throw. And it would make a great lion's mane for either a costume or toon lion. Lots of possibilities…!

  • I can see that- to me, it looks like a blanket of slivered metal; and he with nothing on inside.  Ow.

Quick. Apply a fabric shader! I know a lot of people who will be upset if you ever hurt one of "Darwin's Boys!" (Myself included.)
    laugh

  • A blanket of slivered metal, that's nasty DM . Poor guy lol. With that amount of ..uhm.. hair there, I would have him shave!

I can easily picture the same as L'Adair and since I haven't have the right amount of morning coffee yet, my imagination's running wild.

The next thing I saw was a new kind of Hula skirt lol, I REALLY need more coffee.

Glad your having fun in Zbrush and love that you're sharing :D

LOL That sounds painful.. and if that is slivered metal he either has an Amazing pain tolerance.. or... well he's Really into pain lol

It look fun though :) and I can see why you see metal, I did as well actually *grins* On that note it is fun to see the result and makes me happy hearing you have fun :)

  • lol- yeah, I tossed it, but it was still fun to learn.

Still tweaking materials-had some issues with the translucency settings and h.mats on his LIE goatee. Still have one or two translucency settings to tweak- but I did this one last night before going to bed.  Titled-Gypsy.

Oh My Gawdddddd!!! ****Passes out****** waits for Danior to revive her..............oh wait that is just a fantasy!!!! lolz

  • He is drop dead gorgeous as a gypsy...damn those eyes...

  • Aw, thank ya.

Actually- had to tweak his eyes a bit more; they were kind of glowing in all of the light rigs I used, which means too much white in the sclera.  Updated version! This was a quick 10 minute render test.

He's coming along Really nicely! also really like those jeans :)

  • Thank you!

Now, the icons are nearly done; my driver needed updating and didn't render properly last night, so I had to update the driver this morning and finish them tonight- BUT..

Wonderland won the randomizer for testing Danior; I did message Wonderland on the 16th and had no response.  If anyone can get a hold of them, please let them know I'll be re-rolling that randomizer tomorrow night for a new tester if I don't hear back.  I'll message again, but if someone else can get in touch please do!

    *stumbles into kitchen*

    *makes coffee*

*yawns and move out of kitchen*

*stops, stares and stares some more*

    *silently hands over coffee*

    Morning to you as well.....

    *pounces*

  • So, the randomizer chose Chanteur-de-Vent to test out Danior for G8!  ;) Getting there!  He's been accepted, so she and Daz are testing simulatneously.
