@ Steve K I'm not going anywhere near that drum setup lol

Dang, and here I thought I could get you to do it for free ...
I know with your skills you could, but it might take ... I dunno, I would guess a year or so. I actually did ask the AniMusic creator long ago if he was going to make a commercial version of the MIDI driven animation code, not the models necessarily, just the MIDI/animation link. He replied it was too much of a hassle ...
BTW, are we still avoiding quotes here in the Carrara forum?
I never did... I expect the forum to work
even when it doesn't
it's that time of year again! ~ the sleigh is still there
wackier than ever in this covid year
grabbed, may have had but my unzipped freebies are mounting up
from you and others
just hope I live long enough to render them all
wacky video on polyline tool
Stezza - great to see you share a modeling technique. I followed most of it. Hope you can do more of these.
For the presentation, what are you using to capture the screen?
I must get a microphone to use... that works .. lol
I used the inbuilt Windows 10 screen capture software.. on your keyboard select Start+G to fire it up.
it seems to work ok.
Thanks, I assume you mean gamebar. It doesn't work that easily for me. I will need to troubleshoot. Sigh.
it always told me no game detected
and if I used it on a game was iffy at best as to whether it recorded
remembers mascara. and emu cutie
I find I have to have Carrara open before starting it.
anyways whilst waiting for Santa I thought I'd model a wacky space pod thingy
beaker and animal, tee hee
what better wacky way to ring out 2020!
Let's hope 2021 brings us a better time
Keep Safe & Happy New Year Carrarians
my last wacky model for 2020 a wacky cat and a wacky garbage bin to dump 2020 into ..... bring on 2021 I'll have a drink for you all
kick it to the curb Stezza
Happy New Year!
so this is 2021
still just as wacky!
so I modelled a wacky bird and baking tray ~ escape from 2020! maybe...
all started from a cube x 2 ~ wacky gravy and all... it's in the zip for you to do with whatever...
I used anything goos to texture the wacky bird ( which is boned ) and the gravy
have fun in 2021 with a full belly!
Thanks Stezza, someone was looking for boned turkey
Thanks Stezza, one can definately give 2020 the bird now !!!
started this off with a cube
wanna keep all those nasty, wacky interstaters out of your Runtime?
then here's a wacky barrier set from Carrara Council to help you to keep'em out!
death is not included!
there's 3 barriers in the zip
Thanks once again Stezza !!!
wow
how tricky is it to model a tennis ball in Carrara
I got a microphone for xmas so guess what... I'm gonna do a video on trying to model a wacky tennis ball!
dunno when though... but soon
but why model it? I would use a sphere and a texture like everyone else
being Carrara though that texture could include a density map for the hair!
because this is the wacky modeling thread!
hellooooo
How wacky is this!
a video tutorial on modelling a tennis ball ~
and you'll find the wacky ball and wacky racket in the zip file for you to experiment and texture with
That was AWESOME!!! Cannot overstate how great this was, on so many different levels.
Many thanks for taking us through your workflow. Loved the accent.
I hope that you can find time to do many more of these. Not sure if I have time to jump in and learn modeling right now, but there were also other tips in there that were super useful.
Well done.
thanks UB, glad you got something out of it..
but... what accent?
I figured that was coming.
Hope more folks look at your tutorial. Truly wonderful.
