Revamping my comic's cast for the a yet to be produced chapter. I ended up migrating to G2, when I ran into issues with fine tuning body types with G1.

So here's ghoul Dot and catgirl Joy.

According to the lore my comic operates on: Ghouls are scavangers, so their on the small and spindly side. Hence Dot's petite frame.

    Nice look.

So is the energyfield a geoshell, or is that postwork?

I rendered two image, 1 without the Geoshell and hand effects and 1 with them.  Then I composited them together in Photoshop.  Came out cool.

My new favorite artwork from you! The effects are eye catching and the overall style compliments the character.

I loved that they resuced Thrawn from being non-canon. He was a fantastic villain in the later seasons of Rebels. I first knew him from the excellent Star Wars: Tie Fighter game.

I remember reading the books in college where he was introduced,  He was a great villian and I was also glad when they included him in the Star Wars Rebels show.  I just recently read the cannon graphic novel staring him as well.  A good story needs a compelling villian.

I would say that Domino is very LUCKY to have you around to create such a great illustration of her. I'm very impressed with the way you managed to get the costume to work with black-on-black-on-black like that. Like the subtle little "X" logo on the belt buckle. The background is a clean, geometric WINNER. Question: Is that supposed to be a shadow of her hand on her breast? It looks a little odd to me, as though the light source isn't quite right. Or maybe it's just a distraction to me? I don't know. But that is VERY, VERY MINOR. This illustration is fantastic!

Now... not to harp on you, bud, but when are we going to see you create some comic pages? Hmmmmmmm?

Wow. This shows real growth in your development as an artist. It's very strong and clean, but shows different techniques from your more-comics-inspired artwork. I see a lot of potential here, especially in the skin tones and the clothing details (you let them fade out in just the right places). The hills look a little simple when compared to the trees, however. This is not a bad thing, in and of itself, but the trees look a bit more resolved than the hills. Perhaps a little haze to indicate distance? I dunno. Not even sure it needs it because this really is top-notch work, my friend!

Looking forward (as always) to seeing more soon!

Very strong work. Particularly like the wings and the lighting.

There is a shadow of her arm across her breast.  I tried a few things to minimize it.   For some reason, this image took a real long time to render, so I didn't want to change the lights and re-render.

I did this one for my daughter becuase he is a huge LOTR and Hobbit fan.  I wish I could have changed his expression, but the model did not have bones in his face.

The rain and sky effects are vey nice. Ditto on the NPR effects. The outlines are pretty solid and consistent. But (I guess you knew a "but" was coming), my friend, I think you skimped on the details (or were rushed?). The cape is supposed to attach under the red X-medalions; just clumping the fabric (which looks like hard slabs rather than gathered fabric). And in this kind of storm (hah! I made a funny!) her hair should be blowing all around. Instead, it looks neither wet nore dynamic – like the cape gathers, it looks like solid objects. Y'know, if you had done this one last year I might not have even mentioned these things (okay, I probably would have), but your latest work is stronger than this piece. The shadows within the cape are interesting, btw. And I really do like the lightning effects.

Sorry to rag on your last piece, but THIS ONE? WOW. You really nailed the weathering on this one. The textures, lines and highlights are all rock-solid. Although the radiating lines are kinda cool, I don't think you need them here. They kind of distract from the quality of this illustration. This one is VERY exciting to me, as the textures show a definite progression in your styling. It's more detail, but the right kind of detail that fits in with your coloring style here. Love it.

This is not a DAZ nor a Poser model.  I'm a bit limited in what I can do with it.

Amazing NPR images guys! Here few plain renders using G1 and pwToon for use as shoot guide/simple commercials storyboard And since my creative boss much more skilled in manual inking and retouching areas, she'll be in charge to make these plain render much better ;)

    ;)

These are very nicely done. I'd love to know more about the project for which you are doing these storyboards. (What language is that? It doesn't sound familiar to me.)

BTW, if you are interested in creating strong line art and want to minimize the amount of hand inking that needs to be done, I suggest you take a look at Poser. Its ability to output line art is really unparalleled. Following that, Cararra has a pretty good plug-in that outputs strong line art. Those apps do have a bit of a learning curve, and out of the box the Poser settings are pure rubbish. To get anything good out of it, you do need to tweak the settings. I'm trying to get Poser's new owners to change the default settings for the next release (here's hoping).

    PWToon is money well spent.

XPS model.  The bones vary greatly from model to model and they are nowhere as natural as DAZ.  XPS models are more difficuilt to pose than DAZ/Poser models.
