Pleasure, and thank you @kenmo
Continued work in progress of "Venn Biblia: A Bible Story", one of the stories to be powered by StoryLucent Tool
very nice style in this - that's a terrific sounding project you are making
here's a virtual reality 360 scene I was trying to post yesterday

takes a while to come up to full resolution
I haven't visited this thread in a while. Wow, wonderful goings on. Here is something from me.
love this one Diomede - especially how you modelled everything as well (?)
this a Carrara job by any chance?
Just wanted to let folks know I've moved the previews for the Heroes of the Wild Frontier comic over to the 3D Comic Book Tips And Pictures thread.

I really super-digg the monochrome style. The watercolor/gouache like treatment is rather nice, but most especially these renders inspired by Heironymous Bosch are outstanding!
I got way behind on the thread and now we're on a new thread! A lot of great images, and thanks in particular to @magicjava for sharing your comic work with us!
I thought I had posted this one earllier, but looking back looks like it didn't make it into this thread, only the It's Raining Men contest thread. Another pwToon piece in Studio. Click for full size.
Reminds me of those old pulp fiction magazines that were so popular in the 150s, 60s and 70s... Great look...
I've been watching Tony Leonard on Youtube. He uses ZBrush to create line art for his comic book art...
Some of his techniques like adding screentone/halftone in Photoshop to line art maybe of interest to Poser/DAZ users as well...
Not sure if I should be posting these to this thread or to thread 3D Comic Book Tips And Pictures
Anyone care to inform me which is the proper thread?

Thank you, Head Wax and Kenmo, for the comments. Yes, all the figures and props were modeled, rigged, and rendered in Carrara. I was going for an old dime novel pulp cover look, so I'm glad that came through. Could definitely use some more postwork. Thanks for the links to Tony's stuff.
Some people use PD Howler to assist in postwork. There is an upcoming webinar. Here is some info from Tiffanie Gray.
You can post this here and the other page. I am very much interested in comics. I'm working on a graphic novel idea myself. I'm not doing it for profit, so I'll probably share it with you all if I ever get it done. It's a create endeavor for fun.
Some treasures... edited in Topaz Studio.
What topaz filters are you using?
Hi Artini, I think this one is my favourite - could be a movie still.
more nice work - I like the ast one best as far as having a hand done look
thanks again Kenmo!! appreciate you sharing these treasures
terrific balance betrween black and white and a good lesson in using white outlines too
thanks @Rakuda :) great image for your avatar too
Thanks a lot, head wax.
Hi tkdrobert.
I have used the following filter presets in Topaz Studio:
Mechanic Grime, Line and Ink III and Oil Painting II.
I have also noticed, that the look after applying filters depends heavily
on what was the input image and sometimes the same filter preset
applied to different images does not look nicely all the time.
It is very helpful, that Topaz Studio is displaying a mini images
of different effects, before actually applying them.
You can post on both. :)
And, as always, great pictures everyone. Keep 'em coming!
The Prisoner {2016}
I did this a couple of years ago. Elephant was modeled in Sculptris, the dungeon modeled in Hexagon3D ver 2.5. Both models were textured in 3DCoat ver 3. The scene was then rendered in Vue Studio 8.5. The image was further detailed in ArtRage with some color correction in Photoshop.
My inspiration for this image was one of my favorite fantasy stories, Robert E. Howard's "Tower of the Elephant" in his Conan series... But I went for a more storybook type of feel then a horror/fantasy look....
Blade Runner: Hot Pursuit. Although this render is detailed, it does not appear to be "Photo-real" to me. Feel free to correct me if you feel I am wrong.
Here is another version, not sure which is better:
that's a classic Kenmo, love the elephant pose and expression
