If you're a first time visitor- welcome :) I posted a link in The Commons to let people know what Scott-L and I were doing as we're racing against the clock- these products are Flash Sale and can end any time now.

When you're surfing the thread, anytime you have a question, just ask. Or want to contribute. It's for everyone to have fun with and jump in when we're discussing products, etc. It's a very busy thread. (Daily)

Thanks so much Scott-L! I'll experiment a bit with bazaar when I get done here. You covered it beautifully :) (I'm just ultra curious. I still might plop some of these on swimsuit tops and leggings!)

SWITCHING OVER TO THE TOTALLY BAZAAR product.

First of all, what a delight. You choose the pattern, AND the size! I will show you one pattern on all three pillows, but I used large, small and medium. I'll do a screenshot, be right back.

I'm in LOVE with that orange-peach pillow in the second pillow render (top left.) Let's do it on clothing!

Be patient for a few minutes, I am going to open the scene with MY lights that I really like (I haven't done any preset lights in my renders, because I wanted to learn.) It's the lightset with Chiara in her bikini, and we are going to put these textures on a bikini top as promised and see how they do.

The "Mach pack" is also pretty good, and has a number of kind of interesting textures and patterns. I didn't render with any fancy lights, but I like the way these look.

OMGosh, I just bought it. Didn't realize it was a shader, thought it was a tough guy outfit!
Everyone, here's the DS one. Also one for Poser. QUICK BEFORE IT GOES OFF SALE. Is only $5.98 at 60% off right now!

    Thanks SereneNight!
And you should see the bikini top coming in- WOW. It's almost done. It's a bona fide render (shading rate is .50, better than the 1.0 of the pillows) so it's taking longer. Will be a few more minutes.

yeah, I have to say wow. I like the look of the bazaar product. it looks nice in the renders everyone shown, and nice on the bikini. I'll probably buy set 1.

I was rather impressed with the mach pack. There are a lot of shaders, and you can achieve some interesting effects with the chainmail mesh which is somewhat diaphanous. It looks quite sci-fi when combined with a regular non metal texture.

One thing that doesn't thrill me about fabricator is how textures and patterns are lumped together. It confused me when I first started using it, because I didn't understand the difference between textures and fabrics.

I do like both products, but mach actually has quite a bit more everyday things that I will probably use, especially since I tend to render more males.

And again, thanks so much for telling us about it. That promo image made me think it was a commando character for the Freak! Again, lesson learned- after I buy want I KNOW I want from Flash sales, I need to go back and click all of them, read and look at thumbnails. I think that's how I found the Priory with the fantastic set.

Yeah, Fabricator has a couple things you can add to the diffuse channel to make textures, but I was in a rush so didn't try it. I'll play more :)
Doing another Afghani texture on the bikini. We should do leggings- I'll have to see, I think I have those installed.

Thanks, it's so hard to pick ones for these longer renders. This looks SO different depending on large, medium, and small. I'm going to go look for some other things to try this on now :)

    Totally Bazaar- Jasmin's Sandals

Settings- displacement was already around 38%, Bump was 3%. I left it at that but moved the bumps to -0.15 and 0.15
Onc sandal is closeup and the other distant, which will help you see what the sandals would look like in a typical average-distance shot.

    Image one: Arabian>Bronze Silk Brocade
    Image two: Arabian> Beige White
Image three: Arabian> Red Diamond Weave
Image four: Arabian> Purple Flower MY FAVORITE!

CLICK TO ENLARGE TO SEE THE BUMP!
(Newbies- you do this in the Surfaces tab. First, by the Universal Tool, there are 3 black sheets of paper- that is called the Surface Selection Tool. You click on the surface of the object with that, THEN go into the Surfaces tab. That is where you will find the bump information.)

    Totally Bazarre- Legging Differences
    Day Dreamer For Genesis
    http://www.daz3d.com/day-dreamer-for-genesis Platinum Club $1.99
If you don't have it, take a look. Worth it for the leggings, but I really like all of it. Great for kit bashing (using pieces with other outfits)

Cassini, my V5, is coming back to help me out to model a gorgeous outfit that you can use these patterns with- because the trim is differentiated in such a way you can tie it all in. Note- I didn't turn on smoothing or do fine tuning, I'm just trying to get these examples out there.

Before I get these mixed up, let me share this-
Wicked Stockings http://www.daz3d.com/wicked-stockings will be in sections- lots of them, per each surface area.
Day Dreamer leggings- One piece, easier if you just want to do one color. And has shoes that come with it.

    Coming up:
    Day Dreamer- Egyptian
    Suit: Pale Heiroglyphs
Trim and Leggings: Ochre Diamond Weave
    Shoes: Sage Embroidered Heiroglyphs V

    Rendering now.

It's Metallic Silver Vertical for the trim.

I just found this thread and am really enjoying seeing what you guys are doing with these products. I hadn't realized the flash sale was on. I really love the Day Dreamer outfit and it's great for shaders.

There are literally thousands of free fabrics for Fabricator at Share Cg. Remember they are diffuse only, and meant to be used with the Fabricator Weaves.

MackPack is very special set and a bargain even at full price.

The machpack is awesome! Thanks for making it. I love it. It is an awesome buy.

One thing that having awesome shaders like this has brought to my mind, is how outfits need to have more material zones. It is such a bummer to re shade an outfit only to discover the trim and main cloth are one piece, not separate. It can really ruin the effect one hopes to achieve.

Totally agree- the Day Dreamer outfit is SO perfect for this because the trim is different, the bottom of the sleeves is different- it's just perfect!
One thing though- my Day Dreamer doesn't show the scarf or the sash. I don't want the scarf, but the sash would have been nice. The description says it's supposed to come with it. Anyone else care to check to see if I messed up somewhere?

Marieah, a joy to have you stopping in. (Creator of Totally Bazaar, The Fabricator, and MachPack) I will be getting to MachPack to feature it soon. I have the others too (Lace, grunge, rust, etc) so sooner or later will get around to those. :) Anytime you want to share examples would love to see them. I'm always curious to see what the vendor's favorites are- I bet it would be hard to pick!

And keep this in mind to change the fabrics! On sale now.

And here's Cassini going Totally Bazaar with Native American. EDIT: that top part above the legging was the LEG, I accidentally did it dark brown in a previous render!
