Well, this was an instant buy (of course) - and I see all discounts applied, got the additional % after I also bought "Caput Caseum" (which I haven't got in the last sale, so it's fine for me as a MM item :D ).

Now I still need a second computer to play with it, seeing my render-pipeline tells me... this one will be free in about...a week *lol*

    Cheers :)

Absolutely! Good Speyside single malts and a great "test leader", I picked 3 out of five (only mixed two up) based on smell, taste and look and what he told about barrels used, age etc, not bad at all.

Be aware, everyone — the discount on Platea Bundle is currently not working properly. The individual bits of the bundle do seem to get the proper discounts, but my cart with the bundle and something else from the MM list isn't giving the full buy-two-get-50% discount. We're told in one of the MM threads (with a lot of confused people) that someone from DAZ is looking into it. I'm holding off for a few hours to see if they can fix it.

A very nice surprise to look in and find Platea. Though I'd forgotten about all the discounts - my mind is pretty much fried from fixing a web-server for hours.

I've rather take to using Stefan - a rather disreputable gent skulking around the palazzo probably looking for a bit of trouble.

The Forest Whispers product comes with a leaf texture, transmap and bump that can be swapped out on the ivy props in the Platea:Fallen set that transforms them to living ivy. After swapping out the textures, save a material preset which will work on all of the ivy props.

My latest PlatClub Inspirations entry, Parkside Head (wearing the Northern Head textures), the curtains from West Park Ablutions again (wearing the Vintage textures this time), and Shelter (wearing the Neglected Shelter textures). DS4.5Pro render, prework & postwork in GIMP. Larger version in my deviantART gallery here.

    Thanks for the comments :)

I don't normally do this but I am thinking of re-doing the picture just a bit. i wanted a bit more action but wasn't sure i could pull it off but now i am thinking I just may give it a try.

Oh and just for fun here is a side side by side view of the back ground for the picture. the post worked version and original render.

I have been practicing lately trying to get better so i like keeping these around to see how i been doing and what i can do better at some point.

How did you fake the lighting in the scene? You've obviously done a great deal of postwork to the image to get it to that level, but I'm curious as to how to achieve similar results. Please teach me, sensei!

:red: I just recently decided i should take this hobby a little more seriously than i have in the past,
and by recent i mean made the decision just a few weeks ago 'lol'.(which was about as far from serious as one could get )

so everything i do right now is more or less experimenting and so result are very inconsistent right now so i wouldn't be doing any good trying to explain anything right now unfortunately.
If i get to the point where i am confident enough to try and show i did stuff i would probably do it in the art studio section of this forum. Though i would probably have to figure out how to do it using pictures to explain things.
( as muddled as my reply's in forums sound you should see me try to explain things uggg! )

Nice idea replacing the texture maps. Yeah very cool..though I must say that you can find free Ivy maps, with bump and sometimes Normal maps free on the interweb and since the ivy leaf meshes are just flat transmapped planes any leave map will do to though it won't look like Ivy.

Love the new set. Simple Reality render here. Still a bit of grain in it, but I need my comp for other things, so for now this is as finished as it will get.

Forest Whispers was a product from the Heart of the Matter Extravaganza bundle 2 from the 2010 PC Anniversary sale and I think a lot have it already. I would like to replace the leaves on the tree from Remembering how to Fly. The tree with it's tiered branches and leaves would make a perfect Japanese maple. Unfortunately from looking at the texture maps, it's going to take some effort.

Yeah multi leaves on one map are a little hard to do.

Possible something the think of for West Park? This was posted in another forum on another site where someone was discussing your West Park sets.

~ROFLMAO~ You Brits must be a lot more progressive, because here across the Pond, Debbie Does Dallas would be in the "Adult" section. :coolsmirk:

I think Pete was looking "in that other section behind the black curtain" and found something quite different that also called itself "Kelly's Heroes".

sheaks while no one is looking.

I couldn't hold it back earlier, sorry but I often say or type what is in my head at the moment and yes I do put my foot in it all the time. Sometimes it can be pure comedy.

~ROFLMAO~ OK, I didn't occur to me there could be 2 different Kelly's Heroes movies. ~laughs herself silly~
