    Fishtales - well, 8 days is quite a while. But catching the light looks really good. Rainbow cruises is a cool and colourful idea. Well done, both.

    Wonderful sky, Fishtales!

    I think, this will be my #3 entry. Originally, I wanted to make all textures grey-scale and only give colour to all the lights (there are quite a few in this scene). But I decided to first make it in colour and I liked it this way. I might rework it, but if no further version comes, this is it.

    Buildings (facades) made in Bryce. Car, traffic lights are from Archive3D. Persons are Genesis, clothed in clothing by Wilmap's, hats are freebies from some place.

    You may recognise the inspiration, or find it when looking for the title: NIghthawks

    @Fishtales: both Pictures are cool, but Rainbow Cruises ar really great. The Sky is beautiful.

    Thanks all. The sky isn't :) It is a cloud slab with the Psychedelic/Rainbow texture using Mapping Mode/Cylindrical and Star Field as the backdrop sky. I was trying for a Borealis look but gave up :)

    Hansmar - very cool urban scene.

    drachenlords - wow, that pinball render is really good!
    Fishtales #2 - that's one long render! (8 hours is more than I can bear to wait for, never mind the 8 days) Lovely colours though!
    #3 - also pretty colours (I love the sky too)
    Hansmar - great Nighthawks scene
    Horo - I love your Autumn Trees - really pretty colour range and the lighting works well (I suppose yours would!)

    @fishtales... Catching the Light is very interesting... great halo around the sun and the sky effect in Rainbow Cruises is very cool

    The image is a bit distorted compared to the thumbnail, is it because of the size ? When I click on it it looks "normal".

    When you attach the image to make it larger in the forums, change the width to 800 and leave the height blank so it doesn't distort.

    You know you can edit that post to fix the ratio if you want to? Just edit then click on the image in the edit text box (cursor turns to a cross-with-arrows as you click on it) then click on the image box in the edit header and change the size there.

    PS: The portal looks great at the correct ratio!
