Where is AniMate Lite?

I've been using Daz studio since July 6. 2014. so my anniversary is coming up, but my question is why didn't I have the so called free animate license that came with 4.9. It was there in the public version which I installed first and found it to be both fun and helpful for what I wanted to do but was perplexed and frustrated that the final version I installed didn't have it for me. I went to the forum and there was a lot of talk that it was free with the free pro version of Daz 4.9 but I had to go back to using the public version since AniMate lite was missing. Is there a way to get it to work in mine? When I check for the Animate lite information, only AniMate2 info comes up

Is theer a serial number box next to the entry fro AniMate 2 in help>About Installed plug-ins? If not it may indiocate that you entered your DS serial number, which will have been seen as an invalid code and so disabled the plug-in. In that case I think you would need to open a support ticket.

Thanks Richard for responding. Okay I looked at that and yes there is a box next to the AniMate2 line that has a checkmark and like ten numbers and the rest X'd out followed by another checkmark and a shopping cart. I assumed that meant I needed to buy AniMate2, but I had registered my Daz studio before when I started with 4.5. However, with the following public versions, they always had AniMate2 in them but then when the full version came out it would be gone. I was glad when they announced that AniMate Lite would be part of 4.9 with a limited number of aniblocks but enough for me to get a feel for animation with Daz, which is what I wanted to do. Now after updating from the public bulid to the regular pro version there is no functionality, but the aniblocks are there. Is that making sense? I'm not sure if I'm explaining myself correctly, but I only registed what I thought to be Daz 4.9

The beta and the release keep track of serial numbrs separately, so te fact that AniMate Lite is available in one but not the other is certainly consistent with its being an issue of an improperly entered serial. However, the characters followed by Xs is consistent with your not having entered the serial - the characters that are there are showing what the serial number should look like (they all start SGFANMT-020 then the rest is unique to the user) to make it easier to enter the right one. Are you seeing the same in both versions of DS? Are both versions of DS showing DAZ Studio 4.9 Pro in the application title bar?
