Importing a scene into Daz3d from Poser 11

Is it possible to import a scene created in Poser 11 using items that were created for Poser into Daz3d.    I want to inport the dungeon and several props that were designed years ago for poser into a new scene in Daz3d.

Probably. DS does import Poser files, but not all features are supported. If the folder that contains the Runtime folder is set as a Poser Format Content Directory (a quick way to do this, if it isn't already set, is to right-click on Poser Formats in the Content Library pane) then the product files should appear under Poser Formats>Runtime folder>Library type as they do in the Poser library pane.

I do this all the time.  Most of my content is Poser stuff, some quite old, and it works great.  At the risk of ruffling feathers, I find it works better (and faster) in Daz.  Textures will need work unless you like the look of the original 'Doom' game on the very old stuff.  IRay shaders are a blessing here as they can make a stodgy old item look great.  Once you're happy with the look, the individual item can be saved for use later without having to reload all your carefully fiddled with shaders.
