Including addons in existing Product metadata.

Wondering if anyone has had success adding files to already existing Product metadata? For instance a DAZ Outfit for G3F and then a Renderosity texture pack. Ultimately I would like to add the rendo textures to the "Materials" collection of the outfit product. Another example is MostDigital's Nessa. I bought the G3F morphs, made product metadata for it, then uploaded the free 'Stylized' morph. Even though I can add the stylized morph to the list of files, it does not show up in the assets tab. Am I missing a step?

Yes, I've done this in the past.  But its really best to create a seperate product for the added materials and have them be compatible with the main product, not be a part of the main product.

As far as adding the morph... are you sure you hit all the necessary categorizations? You need to use the drop down to define what it is, then you need to add it to a proper category.  And you probably have to define what figure it is compatabille with, I'm not 100% sure about that last one on a morph, but probably.

For example; see all the morphs I added to the support files? I Saved and Exported. Then opened it up again and went to the assets tab, but none of them show up there.

You would need to add the Base morph injection folder contents to the Victoria 4.2 Base product.  Assuming you haven't change the file paths or V4.2 product name:

    1. Select the Poser Format Library folder Pose>DAZ's Victoria 4>Morph Injections>Base
    2. Right Click, select Create a Product From..
    3. Enter the exisitng product name when prompted: Victoria 42 Base  Victoria 4.2 Base Click OK
    4. You'll get a message the product exists and if you want to add the files to it, Click Yes

Go to the Victoria 42 Base Victoria 4.2 Base product and launch the Content DB Editor and go to the Assets tab, you should see the morph presets in the upper window.

    What Lindsey said.

You have not properly added them to the product. Not sure what you are doing, but its not the correct method.

Thank you so much that worked! Good to know, because I am going to be doing something similar with a group of freebies from MostDigitalCreations that they release every now and then. This way I can keep them in their own folder structure and just add them to the same product as they get installed. Funny thing is that it wasn't me who installed this, it was the DIM. Thanks again!
