V4 clothing not auto fitting

Okay this is a new problem, when I load clothing onto a v4 figure, it is not "auto" fitting to it. It shows up in the right spot, but when I pose the character it doesn't move with it, until I right click and select the parent. Normally in the past as long as I have the V4 character selected and then put on the clothing it fits and when I pose the character it already "stuck" on. Is there some setting that was changed?

Thanks!

Amy

you need to purchase this outstanding product... http://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofitting-clones-and-clothing-smoothers-for-genesis-3-female-s

with that you will once again be able to auto-fit V4 to G3F

Do you mean auto conforming rather than Auto fitting? Some things don't auto conform go to the parameters tab and there should be a box where you can select the figure to conform to. Or right click on the item and choose conform to from the list.

No this is for V4 character wearing clothing made for V4

Then, it's not autoconforming an you will need to select the clothing item and do a manual 'fit to'...either in the parameters tab or right clicking on it in viewport.

It seems to me that it used to autoconform before and that a setting or something is off? I don't remember having to do a manual "fit to" on items designed for V4 on a V4 character in general?

Not sure, but maybe the preference (Auto-magnetize to figures with D-Forms) settings changed somehow? Happened to me once.

CMS automates the Fit-To for items that did not have it set.  Is CMS working?

Standard problem with most Poser content, it's been saved back to the library as a figure rather than as a conformer, as a result the auto conforming setting hasn't been set right in the CR2.

Open the CR2 in a text editor and find the word conforming, after it will be a 0, change that to a 1 and save the changes to turn on the auto conforming.
