HELP Carrara not longer detects .OBJ files

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I am in desperate need of help right now  Carrara version 8 has stopped detecting and loading ALL .obj files someone PLEASE HELP ME

    Did you delete the obj importer somehow?

    No idea so how would I go about finding out if I did?

    Fixed it! After going through every windows folder and deleting everything i could find related to carrara and even deleting the reg keys, I reinstalled and it works again!
