No importer for the file format can be found??

I've installed DS just now, 4.9 pro. Downloaded the essentials, all I need is the anatomy models really. Can anyone please aid me how to fix this issue? It says 'No importer for the file format can be found' and I have no clue what to do.

    Which file are you trying to load?

    Any, really. It says the same message for any file I'm trying to click/drag onto the scene, and has the triangle and '!' sign for a file.

    Ah, that means the files are not where the content management system says they are. Try using the Content Library pane, looking under DAZ Studio Formats or Poser Formats as appropriate - can you find the items there? How did you install? Are you using the default locations?

    What specific product do you try to load and are you looking in the content library pane, as Richard suggests, finding and double clicking it?  You may find the following videos useful:
