Environment Map/Draw Dome Control

Hi all,

I am looking to gain an understanding of how to get a better view of my HDRi in the background. I would like to move the image further away from the scene to see more of the HDRi itself if possible. The trees of a certain image for example are always right smack against the window when I know there is also a lake in the HDRi photo. I would also like to see that lake. I have fiddled with the X and Z origins thinking that it would move the image further away from the scene but it just stays in the same place. Can anyone give me some insight into how to gain more control over the HDRi that sits outside my scene and the best way to go about this so I may possible see more of the HDRi. Bit of a newb in this region Thank you!

I have never tried moving the dome X,Y,Z, but I frequently change the dome radius to make it bigger.   The other adjustment I frequently make is to move the ground origin Y down some.

Thank you. Im guessing Dome Mode has to be set to Finite Sphere to increase the dome radius? I tried that and there was no change. Does the HDRi file need to be a .jpg or .hdr? Or does that matter? I aslo changed the Y and Z of the ground origin with very strange results :(
