M4 install into Poser Pro 2014

I'm trying to install M4 and M4 morphs++ into poser 2014. I read that I should put a fake poser.exe file in the selected folder. I made a M4 folder in Runtime/Daz People and tried instlling it thjere. The program will not allow it.
Does anyone knw the answer? I use widows 7 pro

If you are using an .exe installer that's really old, download the current version via DIM or - if you must -download the zip from your account and install manually. The Daz figurs should not be isntalled to the application folder - that was last needed in Poser 6, and is bad practice on Windows Vista and later.
