Another winner, Ivy!  Is your voice actor a member of the union?  wink

What software did you use?  I know you reported Daz Studio in your post, but I read in the Commons that Blender does animation but that Studio does not.  Saw it on a chart.  OK, just kidding.  devil

Always love your work  Saw that you will be doing a Digital Art Live webinar on animating in Studio.  If I am not stuck in a traffic jam on I-95 coming back from the beach, I hope to participate, but I'm afraid the timing doesn't look good.

When Paul approached me to do a webinar for animation it was perfect timing I have been getting asked a lot of questions on animation and even though I am no pro I have been animating with daz since 2010 and have a good grasp of using it.

the webinar is to add to your existing knowledge of what you already know about daz, this course is to get you started in creating animated scene quickly with just using daz studio and the plugins you can buy in the store. I am sure alot of people here know more about daz than I do. But I have a little experience with daz in animation so I'm happy to help Paul out with this Webinar. So thank you very much for the plug :)

For anyone that missed the link in the Daz news letter and you maybe interested in getting started with animation in daz studio ,  you can read about the course here.

Oh my - congrats on making it.

You are my favorite animator artist, so it was a must buy for me, even if I do not use Daz Studio,

    for trying to make animations.

I was there for the recording, and found it very helpful and I learned a ton of things! If there's going to be a follow up, I'm definitely going to sign up for that, too.heart

Thanks Guys for the great feed back.

@BeeMKay  We are working on doing a more specialize courses in broke down segments, so we can offer it in a more concentrated parts of each step it takes to create animation with daz, Mostly because of the amount of knowledge that it has to cover. I think you noticed the couse you attened moved along rather quickly   Anyway, so far the plan is sometime in October hopefully we will have a more specialized class, on animate2, & how to use the plugins Graphmate & Keymate,    & I have had a lot of request for more details on the rigging & the joint editor. and I want to get into using deformers for creating motions pressure effects at sometime as well so maybe we can do that all in another segment later on

Nice job! Now if only there were a way to make the clothing rip. At one point, it almost seemed as if the pants were ripping along the thigh.

Thank you.  I could have shrunk the clothesa little that may have faked a ripping effect. But this was more or else a demo on animated texture script making him change color.

  • Hey! Congrats, Ivy. I can't wait to start watching the tutorial. I was bummed I couldn't make the live event. I'm looking forward to learning from you. Crossing my fingers that more animation tutorials happen. That would be awesome. Especially the Keymate and Graphmate. I have both and I'm still terrible at using them.
