Thanks! Two of those were still encrypted when I checked. All three have been removed from the "mark encrypted" script.

    You're welcome.

All three of them showed up on DIM this morning.

Next up for me, the Old Warehouse Room and Lulu Outfit Genesis 3 Female(s) next week. That's a more important landmark, because I got Medieval Storage Room, Lynsey for Genesis 3 Female(s), and Dragon Queen for Genesis 3 Female(s) free, but the Lulu Outfit is the most expensive DRM item I've ever bought, at $3.85.

    I didn't buy them at $0.00

I imagine someone (or someones) had it bookmarked; can you image the posts flooding the forum if they missed it. :)

Doesn't matter to me, still won't be buying encrypted content.

Avoiding a potential s^)t-storm was actually one of my motivations for the countdown; although you're probably correct about their calendar backstop.

There's now a bit more content for you to consider.

Maybe the thread title could be changed to

Get Your Encrypted (and De-Encrypted) Daz Connect Content Here Thread

with the de-encrypted items marked as such in the list.

    More work for Kerya. ;-)

Wow, I saw this thread was active again and thought I may have bought something encrypted again by accident. Yes, very nice to see these losing the DRM. Looking forward to picking up some of the previosuly encrypted stuff.

What I find rather interesting is the discount on the newly decrypted items. At the very least they are getting their original 30% new release discount back, and in two of the three cases substantially more (featured vendors?).

Am going to need to keep checking this thread for decryptions. There were several things that I wanted and refused to deal with.

ETA: It may be a while before these are properly live in one's product library. I picked up the Medieval Storage Room and the download page is just a black box with a swirly. I'll check again later on.

In the interest of fairness (which I don't feel towards DRM, because DRM doesn't extend a reciproical fairness back), it would be fair; although as not DRMed, they would not fall into that catagory. Daz is being true to their word, which I expected.

All three of those showed up today for me as well.  I was like wait a minute I know I have these.  Then I realized, I have them on my PC which runs 4.9 but I don't have them on my laptop which also runs 4.8 as well.  Took me a minute to figure out what was going on lol.

I don't think it's a restarted new release discount. If you're in the Platinum Club, it's the 30% Daz Originals discount. In addition, Lynsey and Dragon Queen are getting stacked discounts because Ozichick and Valandar, the PAs from whom Daz bought the items to make them Daz-O, are featured vendors in two of the banner sales. Based on banner placement, I wouldn't be surprised if Dragon Queen dropped to a 30% discount tomorrow.

I'm in the PC, and if it were a new release discount, I'd be seeing 51% on the warehouse, and ... I have no idea what it would be on Lynsey and Dragon Queen. 65%, maybe? Except that they almost never stack new release discounts quite that way.

I think it's possible that the Llamaghini sets are the only non Daz-O items in the entire list of DRM materials, though I won't swear to that.

I expect things got triggered a day early because January 21 is a Saturday, and the staff understandably just didn't want to deal with either trying to reset things on a weekend and having it go wrong, or coming back to a more-surly-than-usual forum (which would be saying something) and a bunch of tickets saying, "Hey, what happened?" because everything was supposed to have happened on a Saturday and didn't. (But mostly that first option.)

I've just bought Dragon Queen and Lynsey and neither of them are showing in DIM. But the other items that I've bought are showing.  I hate to think I've been sold/bought these items under false pretenses and that they are still encrypted.

I'm not having a good week with Daz, and this would be the cherry on the cake... and believe me... I hate cherries. angry

EDIT: Lynsey is avaliable as a Manual Download. But not Dragon Queen (I've got swirlies)...

Are you sure the reason you are not seeing them in DIM is because you have already downloaded with DIM a year ago? That was the case for me. If you remember DAZ slightly screwed up with these first three encrypted products, and despite it stating that were DAZ connect only, both Lynsey and the Dragon Queen appeared in DIM anyway. They were withdraw after half a day or so, and I did not manage to grab a DIM version of Medieval Storage, if there was ever one present, but I did get Lynsey and the Dragon Queen.

I wasn't fortunate enough to get them on DIM a year ago, so I've waited a whole year to get my hands on them. Plus, I only bought them a couple of hours ago.

I keep checking, but they aren't showing up in DIM at all. So, I'm not sure whether to wait until tomorrow to see if they're added to DIM overnight. Or just do a manual install of Lynsey through DIM (and do the same with Dragon Queen when the "swirly" has been sorted) :/

Well, I did 'buy' those 3 items when they were free a year ago. Only Lynsey was now available for me for manual dl (I don't use DIM), the othere 2 packages give an error:

There has been an error processing your request

I "bought" all three when they came out, and was able to download them via DIM before that was corrected. Today I found Lynsey in DIM under Product Updates. Dragon Queen for G3F and Medieval Storage Room have not shown up in DIM, and I see the download pages aren't showing up in the Product Library, either.

    They will. Hopefully before Monday.

I saw all three in my DIM yesterday, so it seems it is working for some, but not others

  • Note that if you installed via Connect you will need to have the Connect Installed option checked in DIM's Download Filters (button on the Ready to Download page) for them to show there.

Well, it's a day later and the storage room is still a swirly in my product library. I don't use DIM. I want a manual download.

Given that it's the weekend, I'll wait until Monday. If it isn't available then, I'll put in a ticket.

I didn't know that. Thanks Richard. Everything's installed now :)

You can use DIM to download but not to install if you wish.

But then, it's odd that Linsey is available for manual download, but the 2 others arel still not, at least not for me....

I don't have dim installed on any active system at this moment, and it will never be installed on my render machine as that is not meant for regular internet connection. Dim is only used by me on an old system for downloading a newer beta version - if so desired - and only  after some security updates on that old system are done.

Dim and connect are not a real option for me

Use DIM on the connected machine to download. copy the zip to DIM's download folder on the unconnected machine and install, should you wsih.

FWIW - I use DIm to download at a wifi hotspot to a usb drive. When I get home, I connect to the drive (with my home network - could just plug it in, but . . .) and use DIM off-line on my main system to do the installs. No network connection required - or available, for that matter.

Ok, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining about or over Dim or Connect. The options mentioned are valid alternatives, but just not really for me personally. So my only wonder is why no manual downloads, Just a temporary error?

My guess is it's just a glitch and will be cleared up come Monday.

Should just be a temporary error, don't understand how it could happen because DIM/Manual downloads are all driven off of the same files and the same database entries on the server.

I'll take a look at it on Monday and see if there is anything I can dig up.
