Help with purchasing morphs

Hello everyone,

I am trying to use Daz 3D to make my own webcomics. I want to be able to have some unique characters. Which morphs do I buy to get maximum uniqueness at the lowest possible price both female and male (genesis 2 or genesis3 doesnt matter much).

Also, another huge question I have is. If i make a character using the sliders from morphs, would I have rights for that character. I know I can use the renders for commercial purpose. But can I use the character for other purposes like animation movies or games (Think like Marvel having rights for captain america to do what they want with him). What license do I have to buy to get complete rights for the character I make using morphs.

If you go Genesis 2, these are must-have (the top three at least, the other three would be for more specific stuff):

For Genesis, which is very versatile if you want to crate creatures, you would go to this:

As for your second question... as long as it's a rendered image, you are safe (this also goes for animation). The created character image would be yours, and as far as I know, you should be able to get the "layout" of the character copyrighted/trademarked. That is not true for the mesh itself, and for the morphs you use to create them. You can not use the mesh/morphs in a game, or sell anything but the dial settings you used in connections with the morphs and mesh. (But this is no legal advice, you might want to contact Customer Support about it).

To get the complete rights, you'd have to create the character from scratch in a modeller, rig it, get skin on it. Alternately, you could contact one of the PAs who create models to create the characters and sell the full rights to you. I do not know how expensive that is.

Yep! DieTrying/SickleYeild's morph set is a god send!
