When I go to save as morph assets, all the sudden now I'm getting an error thats saying "Failed to save as morph Asset(s) See Log file for details.

I check it and this is what it says.

I did reinstall Daz 4.8 today would that have anything to do with it? - not a downgrade from 4.9. I am still on 4.8

Drat, I was hoping for an easy answer. Clutching at straws, but please post a screen shot of the option dialogue as you try to export your morph.

I've seen that error when the folder I was trying to save to was not writeable...

Where are you trying to save the morph to?  (full path)

Funny, now all the sudden it's working again. I'll get a screen shot if it pops back up. I don't get it because it's the same scene. I never closed daz, fearing the morphs would be lost... I guess sleeping on it fixed the issue? lol.. I have no idea. But I'll for sure print screen if/when I see it again.

Are you saving to an external/USB/Network drive?

It could be that it WAS going to an unwriteable folder.

I don't know how to change the morphs directory even if I tried.

I can try to change the Vendor name, but the directory is not editable

Ok, it looks like it's only doing that to one particular morph. Weird...

You can set the base content directory used at the top of the options dialogue, the other names then dertermine where in that directory's data folder the morph is saved.

  • I have this exact same issue except mine is NOT self correcting. I've had it for some time now. Haven't been able to save custom morps for months

What are the options you are setting when saving?

I'm ERC freezing upon loading the morph in successfully. Then adjusting rigging to shape. Then File/save as/support asset/morph asset/morphs/morph loader/gen9/then the name of my morph. I don't see any other options and this use to work flawlessly before the error starting popping up.

You should get options for author and product name, and 9as mentioned earlier in the thread) a selector for the content directory to use. A screen shot of the options dialogue would help.
