Changing the size of an object in Hexagon, before sending it to DS

Working from a reference image on the back plane in Hexagon, I finished "version two" of a model I was working on, then realized that it wasn't quite the size that I wanted... I'm making several objects in a series and I want each to be based on an exact circumference.

I imported the first version back into my .hxn work file as an .obj then attempted to type in the size values that it was giving me, eg. I copied the values or coordinates from what I had set up as my first version, into version two in an attempt to try and be precise. Bam!!!  Not the same size or even the same shape... what is going on?

OTTOMH shouldn't each object register as the same size, in the three-dimensional space?
