This is one of my fighters I've created. She's a Gen 3 with Olivia 7 maps. Everytime I render her I get this glossy stuff on her in random places. Like here on her Left thigh and abs. Lighting doesn't matter.
Looks like you've got a seam in your right thigh as well, right where it meets the bench. This was addressed in another discussion, but I can't find it. Forum search...meh.
To me, it looks like the 'fresnel' is giving you total reflection at those oblique angles. (Which is what it's supposed to do)
Depending on which shader you're using and the lighting setup, you can try setting fresnel off/very low, or set reflection very low or move the light involved.
Glossy Layered Weight...dropped it on the skin. (Surface tab) Did the trick!! Hope the info helps somebody else...
No, that is not the answer...
Glossy Layered Weight is NOT a property of a 3Delight shader, it's a property for Iray materials. So if the render is done in 3Delight, with Iray materials, then it is understandable that there will be problems. The actual fix is to apply the proper 3Delight shaders.

That may be..
Yes I used Iray shades on my Gen 3's. Then redered them in 3D. Killed that factory "Mocha look and gave them great skin detail. Little trick I found.. Olivia 7 is the only hiccup for me so far. Now "Fixed" with the above..

Hello?? Anyone?? I'm rendering in 3Delight and it's ruining my finals...
Can you post a screenshot of the surface settings for the thigh and your lighting set up?
