Navigating 4.9

The look and feel of 4.9 is quite different and disorienting. Is there a way to get back to the old organizational structure so I can find my way around and get something done. Lacking that is ther a tutorial that shows where everything is and how to use the software?

    How do I search for content. I put words in the search bar and nothing happens. I click the magnifying glass, nothing happens. I hit return, nothing happens. I hit enter, nothing happens. There must be a secret handshake. What is it?

    Which pane are you searching in? If you are using the Content Library pane are both the folder and the file list panels open?
