how do I Iray Render with AMD graphic card

Is there any way to use my AMD graphic card to render in Iray ?

Advanced render settings dosent show my graphics card only the CPU.

    It's an Nvidia invention, it uses Nvidia card cuda cores.

    So, no Nvidia, no Iray acceleration. It can be faster than other rendering just with the CPU, though.

    Thats what I thought wich sucks for us people with other cards, I was hoping someone had a work around. thanks

    It's not something that can be 'worked around'.  It's a proprietary Nvidia product made to take advantage of proprietary Nvidia GPU technology...

    If they wanted, it could probably be done for OpenCL (the Open Source standard) but that would require it be rebuilt from the source code...which is somewhere at Nvidia's headquarters, I'd guess.  

    It could be worse...it could not run except in GPU mode...then if the scene didn't fit the card, it wouldn't render at all.
