Making clothes and triangels

I understand that quads are best. But can you use triangles in difficult places for form fitting outfits? Or are triangles always bad?

There are lots of discussions and articles on the web about tris vs quads and you have probably read some of them so I won't go into the pros and cons, but from a practical point of view I would never say that triangles are always bad. There are a few products with tri meshes at DAZ, including a recent one for G3F which I bought (sorry can't remember what it is!) and I have to say it seems to work and render fine for me. There are even more conforming items that are mostly quads but have some triangles and I really have never seen problems with these.
Where tri meshes create problems for me is on tight folds where shading artifacts become really obvious, but these are fully triangulated. I would say that if triangles aren't a problem then they aren't a problem!
LOL triangels
