V4 hair on G2F

Can I use Victoria 4 hair on the Genesis 2 Female if I manually resize and parent the hair to the Genesis 2 Female?

I'm pretty sure I can load the hair and parent it to the G2F, but what I want to know is will I be able to then pose the braids, or will it become a static prop?

Parenting something doesn't change it into a prop. The braids will remain as poseable as they were on V4.

I regularly parent hairs to the head to maintain all of the functionality and posability.  You should have no problems.
