tips to expand my database?

Hi, my name is Kia and I'm an alco.. ops... I'm new to daz.
for few weeks I've been playing with daz to see if I can use it's renders as characters for my small games instead of drawn characters. they're good but after ten minutes i realized my database is very limited and I can only make few different faces with the freebies that came with the software. after downloading lots of free packages from websites other websites I found that lots of them belong to other figures I don't have and fitting them to genesis 1-2-3 figures is just a hell of work, most of them miss files and from those that work only a percent fit using smoothing and collision.
pewh that was long... now for my first post in the forums I have few questions hoping you can answer kindly.
1- considering I will only need rendered still images of characters, which one of the figures do you suggest to focus on?
2- is there any free skins out there I can download and use? I never saw a package named like "??? skin for genesis"
3- I have a very limited budget, what I can buy on the shop that gives me the most advantage in creating more unique characters for my 2d games?
4- how much, do you think, I have to spend before I can make let's say 10 different characters with modern clothing?
5- got any other tips to boost a starting daz3d artist?

Many free clothing items can be found here - https://www.wilmapsdigitalcreations.co.uk/introduction.php and ShareCG of course, and at Renderosity freestuff.

I'd stick with Genesis which came free with DS, probably G3F/M.

You will need to spend some money on skins and the morph packs for Genesis.

  • I always use genesis 3. You can also use Photoshop to open the skin texture files and play with the skin tones, add moles and freckles etc etc just to make the characters a little different

I downloaded lots of shareCG stuff but less than 10% where ready to use, the other website looks pretty organized, I'll try it thanks.

Genesis 3 Female Body Morphs $20

Genesis 3 Female Body Morphs $20

    Hair $10 to $30 depending

Characters (incl. morphs & skins) $20 to $30, less when discounted

You might need V7 or M7 ($45 each) for some G3F/M characters but not most.

The price of clothing varies widely.

You can buy pose sets or pose them on your own.
