The "Platinum Club +" has two on-going contests; a weekly contest (focusing on new products released in the store), and a monthly contest (focusing on something else).  You have to join the "Platinum Club+" i.e. spend money for a membership, in order to enter the contest, or even to see the forum threads that contain it.

What fun is contest that no one can even see you won unless they buy a subscription?

It's one of the perks of being in the Platinum Club.

PCI contest has been running for a good many years, and is never short of people taking part.  There are more than 10.5k member who find the PC is a useful thing to join.   http://www.daz3d.com/platinum-club-plus

Yes, but it seems stupid to me that the winner and entries are secretly held behind a paywall.. Grandma, check out this contest I won. Oh yeah, you need to buy a membership first.

No doubt. But I still can't see it being useful for grandma, who just wants to see the contest I won.

As far as I remember, the winning images of the PC-Contest get featured in the weekly PC-Newsletter. You could forward this newsletter to your grandma. :-)

Winners are also posted to the Gallery in the PC Gallery once they are announced with credit given to the artist.  As far as I know, you don't even need to sign up for DAZ to be able to view the galleries.  One just needs to type 'Platinum Club' in the textbox at the bottom of the gallery page that says 'search for artist' and it will give the link for their gallery folders.  After that, it should be easy to find winning images provided you know the username of the artist you for whom you are looking.

Except, you might want to include a note as to why you are forwarding the newsletter.  I forgot to add that little tidbit and got a note from my mom asking why I was sending her the DAZ newsletter when she had never even heard of DAZ before.  Ooops!

That is much better, than locked behind a paywall. I found the link http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#galleries/116211.

Grandma was just a proxy for facebook, portfolio gawkers, etc. Forwarding a newsletter is a bit unwieldy in the modern age.

It was not meant to be a serious advice. :-)
