Barry, Barry, Barry...didn't your Mama and Papa teach you not to point guns at people?

    Apparently not!

No, they told me to take ages choosing the right gun, then point it at someone, then decide you actually didn't like that gun at all. Now I'm off looking for another!

Not liking the gun aside that was one nice render. It was a very nice way to start my day.

which is your weapon of choice?

To be honest, for that character there was no gun except in emergencies, but for most of my other characters I preferred the pistols, partly because I prefer the way pistols look and partly because they fired quickly.

I think I finally have DS4.5 back and running. May be missing a few things, but otherwise looks good. I may put 4.03 or whatever over on my F drive.

How do I know if I have Mimic? I've got some *.dmc files in two separate places; "to be installed" and in "My Library".

The avatar on the left is still the rotating ? Addict. The one below your message is your transformation. BBS and Jaderail seem to be experts at changing their avatars. Jade's at the clinic this morning, but maybe BBS will be in soon.

Anne Do a hard refresh, or even a system refresh. I find using Shift+Ctrl+R does tend to solve most problems with updated graphics not displaying for some people.

Also a system reboot can help on occasion

It's all due to cache issues, rather than cash issues, which also tend to strike addicts at times.

Jeff, are they your models? The pork chop and fish and such?

Anne, avatars are a bit unreliable at the moment. I changed mine and couldn't see it, but after a couple of days it sorted itself out. I'd already done a hard reset (ctrl+shift+r) and that didn't work. Somewhere in the forum is an avatar gremlin that keeps stealing them!

Today I am relaxed. Very relaxed. I call it a sleeping pill hangover! Took a sleeping pill last night because I hadn't slept properly for several nights, and this morning just feel as chilled as that fish of Jeff's.

I need to put some time into my 3D work. Today and tonight I can do that, at least a bit.

To be honest, I don't usually look at the avatars, so I don't know if I saw them or not.

I may be missing the rest of the day. I discovered last night that the county says I have owned this house since the day my dad's will was entered into probate. This was news to me, so now I''ve got to file for my tax exemptions and see about getting insurance on the house.

Hey, I'm always good. Sometimes for nothing, but I'm still good. Got the forms for homestead and over-65 exemptions filled out and notarized, ready to mail tomorrow. In the morning I'll try to deal with USAA on the insurance.

I know, but that won't get me another green box. I'm getting pretty close now, I think.

Good and bad. I don't have a deed, but according to the lawyer handling the probate and the county tax appraisal board, I own the house. The lawyer said as of July 2012; the board says as of the 2011 date when the will was filed for probate. This has opened another can of worms, Despite being married to an attorney, my half-brother has managed to screw everything up.
